I grew up a Minnesota Vikings fan. I still remember losing our 4th Super Bowl, I was 7. That being said, the Vikings have to be one of the most surprising last standing undefeated team at 6-0 in NFL history.
My football teams went 3-1 this weekend.
Vikings won
South Carolina won
University of Minnesota won
Walhalla High School lost
Overall a good weekend.
I’m catching up today on DG podcasts. All are, unsurprisingly, saying how lame the PowerBall Cup was. What can the DGPT do to add excitement to end of the season?
I’m watching the final round of USDGC coverage on DGN. Even knowing how it played out the drama still draws me in. I’m convinced the USDGC needs to be the end of the season event.
I gave the SuperSonic (2/9/0/0) Loop another go during my round Friday. Birdied this downhill hole with little effort. The 9 for glide might be too generous, then might not be generous enough. @disc_ran is where you can find one if you want to try it yourself.
According to WFDF, hundreds of millions of flying discs have been sold over the years. Wham-O reportedly sold 100 million frisbees by 1977. I might have bought 1% of those sold.

I’ve seen nothing on what is going on other than PHP issues.
My wife & my office manager have both complained about all the Disc Golf boxes I have. I’ve refused to let them throw them away. Now that they both discovered Vinted & need boxes, they’re not complaining anymore. I guess I need to buy more discs so they have more boxes.
Now that the Disc Golf Pro Tour season is over, what stories will I bore my office manager with over the next couple of months?
Played a quick round at sunset today. Hats off to SuperSonic discs. I bought a Loop, a Sugar Glider & a Gravity from @disc_ran recently. The Sugar Glider & Gravity have a chance of making the bag. The Loop is a great point & shoot disc, comparable to a Zephyr.
One thing about being an old-timer in Disc Golf: old school is a disc from the 1980s or early 90s, bags before back-straps, every hole played as a par3, and all discs were $8 a piece.
If Money Matters, Ricky should be in the conversation. If only Majors Matter, Ricky should be in the conversation. If the arc of an entire career matters, Ricky should be in the conversation. Ricky suffers from recency bias. He hasn’t won a major since 2017.
