The WashPost is doing a wonderful job of making this story more complicated than need be. Because we share sources, I know that reporters at major media outlets all say this privately, but can't report it publicly, because VACCINES!!! But here's the story.
These updated COVID vaccines haven't gone through a randomised controlled trial (RCT) but were pushed through by politicos in the White House, because, despite RFK Jr., Big Pharma controls the Trump WH as it has controlled all White Houses in my professional life time. Reporters at major outlets talk about this with their sources (who then talk to me) but these journalists won't report this. (Vaccines are science, after all, and if you say anything negative you're an anti-vaxxer).
Thankfully, these updated vaccines are being targeted at those who should have ALWAYS been the patient population, meaning the elderly and those most at risk. Not little kids, you morons who got your five year-olds vaccinated.
But will the COVID updates actually do anything? Well, we don't really know, because we're not running an RCT, meaning we don't have trustworthy research to help us understand efficacy. But hey, vaccines are now THE SCIENCE. So stop asking questions and being an Anti-vaxxer.
On a real note, we need to get BIG PHARMA out of both parties for the sake of Americans' health and to maintain basic sanity. This industry loves money and doesn't care if you're sick or die. Five years after publishing a peer-reviewed article examining a potential connection between SIDS and vaccines, Toxicology Reports removed it.
I've asked the journal and its owner, Elsevier, to explain why they committed this extreme act of censorship.
