The mayor seems to love street festivals, but seems uninterested in larger pedestrianization projects and activation of the public realm. The only way to "make street festivals safer" is ease demand by pedestrianizing streets permanently. The public yearns for this, think bigger.

Doug Ford's grifter ass got on here and accused students of stealing OSAP, not paying theIr school fees (which is impossible to do) and spending money on gratuitous items when 8 FUCKING THOUSAND OSAP APPLICATIONS WERE SUBMITTED FROM THE SAME 3 IP ADDRESSES????
They knew
Another bombshell on the billion dollar OSAP scandal.
Over 8,300 OSAP applications came from just THREE IP addresses. The Ford government was warned as early as 2023 and received over 220 tips, complaints and referrals since January 2024.
They had the warnings. They refused to act until Oct 2026. Now students are paying the price.
We need a full forensic audit.

TTC fare is $3.25...Toronto police and fare officers broke a child's arm and abused and charged his friends for defending him, because the cops claimed they didn't pay the $3.25 fare.
This is how cops everywhere treat children and adults to make themselves feel important.

RIP Juan Atkins, who annexed the intergalactic terrain one dimension further than even Kraftwerk and Funkadelic, a creator of sleek, metallic, funky beats like a cybernetic assembly line on Mars, whose techno inventions influenced everyone from Dilla and Danny Brown to video game soundtracks to any house/techno producer who ever wanted to know what the future might sound like. And we still haven't caught up.
