@KeithBrownSNP This may interest you since you’re part of the ScotLINK Nature Champions for Nathusius Pipistrelles, and are also my local MSP. Without the Bats and Houses case workers there is likely to be a significant impact on bat conservation in Scotland.
A very sad day for bat conservation in Scotland. So much expert bat experience lost and no commitment from @NatureScot as to what any new system will be and how householders with problems or queries with bats will be supported.
@NatureScot You say Nature Scot’s purpose is to ‘promote, care for and improve our natural heritage’, when at the same time you are making your entire Bats and Houses case worker team redundant. Is this the best decision for bat conservation. @heraldscotland @TheScotsman

We're recuriting again, looking for an ecologist to join our team of c.16 ecologists, based in Central Scotland. We're looking for a bat ecologist - either with a licence or currently training for a bat licence. Please contact us via our website or facebook page for more info.

This is hugely significant - Govt has massively under-estimated opposition to its environmental vandalism - and this is just the start👇

Make no mistake - we are also incredibly angry. We stand with @RSPBEngland in calling out the unprecedented attack on nature launched by UK Government over the last few days. We’ll be challenging this together and asking for our supporters to stand with us.

Re-tweets and replies are much appreciated! Hopefully we can get some help... Currently had no help at all, no food vouchers, no accommodation, nothing. All that's been said to us is that the next @Ryanair flight to Edinburgh is the same one in a weeks time??? @askryanair

Great way to start the week with a #cameratrap clip of a #pinemarten in a new area of Shropshire. Only brief, so I've slowed it down for dramatic effect.
