I'm building an app to solve the 'what's for dinner' panic with the help of @ideabrowser and @claudeai Here's a glimpse at the roadmap #indiehackers #solofounder #buildinpublic @jrdnmix
Are you paying a 60% "convenience tax" on your dinner? 💸
We crunched the numbers on meal kit delivery services vs. AI Meal Planning. The results? You’re paying about $5.50 per meal just for the person to put your food in a box.
It’s time to turn your own fridge into a meal kit.

The DinnerInSeconds brain just leveled up 🧠⬆️ We noticed some "strange" cuisine-main ingredient pairings, things that didn't really work together. We improved how cuisine selection works based on your main ingredient and early results are promising! #whatsfordinner
Accounts are now live!!
✅ Save Recipes: No more "What was that amazing chicken thing I made last Tuesday?"
✅ Rate & Review: Tell the AI what worked (and what didn't).
✅ The "I Made This" Button: Mark your victories and track your kitchen wins.

Full backend of @DinnerInSeconds is in place! Recipes API (CRUD operations), error handling, logging, and analytics all up and running! That's another epic down!! #BuildInPublic #IndieHackers
I just spent over 3 hours trying to get my analytics working. All because PostHog thought my VSCode debugger instance of Chrome was a bot. The answer was `opt_out_useragent_filter: true` in my PostHog init. Frustating 🤬But at least I know my analytics are working #BuildInPublic

Some will see results after 2 years.
Some will see results after 6 months.
Others will see results after 30 days.
Stop downplaying your effort.
The journey is different for everyone.
Working on advanced analytics tracking for improving the AI, complete error handling, logging, and monitoring, and account auth today. Once accounts are setup, it opens up a LOT more features like recipe rating, saving, and more! #buildinpublic #foodtech #whatsfordinner
It's fantastic scrolling through X posts and seeing #indiehacker and #buildinpublic success stories! I'm hoping to be one of them with DinnerInSeconds.com. End the 5:15 pm dinner panic and get quality recipes based on the ingredients you already have
The 5:15 PM panic ends today. 🕒🚫

I upgraded the AI’s logic to stop "ingredient clashing." 🧠🚫 No more fish sauce in your Tex-Mex. 🌮
The engine now better aligns your ingredients with the right cuisine for more authentic, delicious results in seconds. 🥘✨ #BuildInPublic #FoodTech #WhatsForDinner
The recipe generation API endpoint is working! A couple successful chicken tests include:
Caribbean Jerk Chicken Thighs
Mediterranean Smoky Chicken with Pomegranate Glaze
Moroccan Spiced Chicken Skillet
Do any of these sound good for dinner tonight? #BuildInPublic @ideabrowser
Added some tweaks to the AI last night to insure good random recipe generation. Starting the backend API today. These two things are the "brain" behind @DinnerInSeconds. #BuildInPublic #FoodTech @ideabrowser @jrdnmix @gregisenberg
