Buy it in 20 minutes; let the engineers & labour make it sustainable and the lawyers sort the papers etc.

Youβre given $5M.
You have 20 minutes to spend it.
You canβt spend it on cars, airplanes, yacht or a house. You canβt spend it on golds or diamonds either.
What will you buy??

THE LONG-AWAITED CROWN IS THEIRS! ππ₯
Pearly-Thinaah needed just 36 minutes to overcome the Japanese pair in straight games and secure the coveted title πͺπ»π
The victory brings Malaysia back to the top of the podium for the first time since Wong Pei Tty-Chin Eei Hui lifted the title in 2008.
Another remarkable chapter in Malaysian badminton history is written at this Super 750 tournamentπ₯β¨

Being honest, thought it was normal practise by money changers..
I always keep the small denominations if possible.. coins from Aussie, UK, Japan, Thai etc too.
Friends/relatives prefer having some smaller denominations when traveling like me.
spotted at a KL sentral money changer: they pay RM4.03 per dollar for a USD 100 note, but only RM3.40 for the same dollars in 20s, 10s and 5s.
that's a 15.6% haircut for different denominations of the SAME currency π€―
it's because cash is physical inventory:
1 | a $5 note costs the same to count, counterfeit-check, vault and ship back overseas as a $100 note, but carries 20x less value. handling cost per dollar = 20x higher
2 | the wholesalers who buy the changersβ cash discount small bills too, so it cascades down to you
3 | demand is one-sided. everyone wants crisp USD100s, and nobody is queuing to buy a stack of fives
then who shows up with small foreign notes? service workers, anyone changing leftover holiday cash, tip earners. ironically, the "tax" hits the smallest amounts harder.
damn, itβs expensive to be poor, even at the money changer π«
(and yes, itβs legal. @BNM_official-licensed changers set their own rates, the only rule is they must display them, which is literally the board in π·)
