I’m actually disgusted. Vile and toxic leftie so called political commentator Ash Sarkar sat on Question Time last night and this was her answer to people who’ve had enough of the boats: “This is small penis behaviour, quite frankly. A bunch of guys who want to feel like big men because the missus says they can’t see the kids anymore.” That’s the left now. Not “here’s why the numbers are fine.” Not “here’s why hotels full of young men in market towns is no big deal.” Not “France is safe but we still have to take them.” Just: you’re a sad little man. Your wife’s kicked you out. That’s why you care. Most of the people coming over the Channel are dangerous adult men from the third world. They already made it to a safe country. Then they get put in hotels while ordinary people can’t get a house, a GP or a school place. And when someone points that out, a professional left-wing commentator goes for their penis and their kids. That’s not debate. That’s contempt. They don’t think you have a legitimate grievance. They think you’re defective. She’ll say “all views are legitimate” and then immediately prove she doesn’t mean it. Disagree with open-ended Channel crossings and you’re not a voter. You’re a racist with a failed marriage. A lot of the people outside those hotels aren’t thugs. They’re locals watching their town change overnight while the people on the telly laugh at them. Using family-court pain as a punchline is especially vile and insulting. Plenty of decent men have been through that. It isn’t a joke. When the argument’s this weak, they always go personal. That’s how you know they can’t win it on the facts. I’m sick of being told this is compassion. It isn’t. It’s a political class that would rather insult the public than stop the boats.
