I still remember asking for any other comments on a task I’d given pupils as a student teacher (a million years ago), one boy told me what happened in the Simpson’s last night. His response when I asked him about it… ‘you didn’t say relevant comments, Miss’ - valid point.

As much as I appreciate the convenience of an app to pay my parking, I completely agree this isn’t fair on those who can’t use tech or don’t have the devices to use it.

It’s the fact the device allocation is devolved to local authorities and in many cases then schools, there needs to be more consistency so all pupils can access.
