I wasn't expecting to cry at 5:10 AM today in my daughter's room.
I was preparing her school lunch when I heard a soft “mummy, mummy” from her room.
I went in and found her sitting inside her bed net, waiting for me. As soon as I opened it, she wrapped her arms around my neck and said, “mummy, I love you.”
My heart melted. I knelt on the floor and held her for a long time.
