Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting slight above Friday’s close, currently. We had a big, long red day Friday after several weak earnings reports throughout the week, as well as increased anxiety surrounding the potential for the AI bubble to pop; these factors caused a strong day of selling across several tech stocks and ETFs. This selling has given us a clear and strong bullish divergence to contend with. Although we still haven’t invalidated the bearish divergence we have been watching, the newly formed bullish divergence is more recent in the price action; we are more likely to see the newer trend play out. DXY has also experienced multiple red days in a row, now, and we are currently pushing down on the previous (local) high; are we going to confirm a new support at this level, or will be break back down into the previous range we have maintained since April 2025? We’ll see how things play out, though, since there’s still a couple potential support levels that would need to fail to hold for this to happen. We have several big earnings being reported this week, including more financial institutions and several tech, aerospace, and defense companies; SpaceX has its second earnings reports since going public. Crossing our fingers for some surprises to the upside!
Today in economic news we have the October NAHB Housing Market Index, which comes from surveyed home builders and those involved with that particular industry. We are well below 50%, and have been for quite a while, and most homebuilders are expecting things to get worse before they get better; previous reading was 32, forecast indicates a drop to 31, and anything below 50(%) indicates more home builders are bearish than bullish. We aren’t going to see a meaningful turn around until mortgage rates come way down, and that isn’t going to happen while interest rates are preventatively (too) high for the average buyer, especially a first-time buyer. I have been saying it and I will keep saying it, we need real economic growth not paper growth, and that kind of growth can only occur when the cost of borrowing doesn’t outweigh the benefits borrowing in the first place; interest rates have to come down.
BTC spent the weekend wicking below the 50ma, and then recovering before each daily candle close. We closed right above the 50ma again yesterday, and we are currently pushing upward on the previous support level that we held for the second half of September. Volume has been fairly weak that last few days, and we are now testing the bottom side of the RSI signal, and we are likely to reject unless we get some sort of positive catalyst in the near future. We’ve seen more outflows than inflows for BTC etfs in recent weeks, and the sentiment meter for BTC is now back in Neutral territory, rather than greed. Crossing our fingers that this has cooled things off enough to give us another leg to clear the next hurdle up around $90k.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
Let’s have a week filled with miracles!

Good Morning Everyone!
Another hectic week is coming to a close. Market volatility mixed with real life volatility causes the weeks all blur together. I can’t believe we are already in mid October…
SPY Premarket is sitting slightly above yesterday’s close, currently. We had a big green day yesterday, after finally closing the rest of the gaps we created two weeks when we saw the strong bounce at $758. While we still haven’t invalidated the bearish divergence, we have cooled off the indicators, and we are back above the 50ma on the 24hour time frame, so there is a chance we hold this level as we finish consolidating before the next leg upward….a small chance, but a chance nonetheless. The US Dollar seems to have peaked and is currently starting to correct. However, this could simply be a retest of the previous local high that was created in June. If DXY hold up here, we should still be cautious of further market correction; if a new support isn’t created here, we will likely see further liquidity moving away from fiat. Holding cash in (higher than usual) inflationary environments is a good way to reduce your buying power.
Today in economic news we have Import and Export price data for September, as well as Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization data for the same period. I think we all expect import and export prices to have both increased MoM, which is exactly what analysts are calling for. Industrial Production and Capacity Utilization are both expected to increase, as well; this is a good thing for economic growth. We just need to get interest rates down, and this trend might actually lead to some real economic growth. But, higher rates are expected to be coming down the line, so any potential growth will probably be short-lived. But, we shall see…
BTC wicked down below $80k yesterday, but recovered nicely later in the afternoon. We are currently sitting around $81k, and we are forming a nice little doji (indecision candle). We do have some nice bullish divergence in play on the daily time frame, so we could potentially see more green days to come in the near future, but that will depend heavily on whether bond yields continue to fall, causing liquidity to shift toward more toward risk assets that have a better chance to offset inflationary pressures. Maybe the second half of the month will give us a true UPtober..? Crossing our fingers!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and Weekend!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting below yesterday’s close, currently. We had a big red day, as well as a large spike in selling volume yesterday, after the September Inflation numbers came in higher than forecasted, and even above consensus among analysts prior to markets opening; we are headed back toward 4% and the FED is very likely to raise rates again. However, following yesterday’s market selloff, we actually saw DXY drop as well, again. Bond yields finally saw a rejection across the board about 2 weeks ago, or so, and since then we have seen quite a bit of volatility in the markets as liquidity gets shuffled around; today we are seeing yields gap down from their support levels. Are we now purposely pushing bond yields back down to stave off more selling of stocks and commodities? We do have one more gap below us on SPY that was left from the early October pump. It looks like we might see that get closed this morning, but we’ll see how things look after the open.
Today in economic news we have PPI, Core PPI, and Retail Sales data from September, along with October Business Outlook and Manufacturing Surveys for October. All of the data just dropped about 10 minutes ago, and the market seemed to react immediately with a push downward toward yesterday’s lows. YoY and Core Yearly PPI both came in way above expectations. The increased cost of materials and goods is driving up the cost of production. However, you would think consumers are feeling the pain as much as it is reported in the news, but retail sales data would suggest that people are still spending at a normal pace with those numbers coming in above expectations, as well… Now, a larger percentage of our budgets are going toward necessities, it seems we are still finding ways to maintain our normal levels spending on things that aren’t necessities. Interesting times we live in…You can’t take it with you when you go, so…
BTC has finally dropped back below the 50ma, and our volume clusters are back in a diminishing pattern, which is par for the course during a consolidation. We have seen net outflows from BTC/Crypto ETFs 4 of the last 6 days, and most traders are back to calling for a massive drop below 50k. We’ll see how today’s market moves effect things today as we continue accumulating for the eventual transition to a fully digital world.
I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday!

Good Morning Everyone!
Not in the office this morning...BUT, today is CPI and Core Inflation day. We have seen an upward push to retest the ATH over the past 6-7 trading sessions on SPY. Was this an attempt to price in a favorable inflation print, or have we created a trap for overly-bullish and overleveraged traders? It could be a double edged sword because what is good for markets isn't always good for real economic growth; today's data will not only effect traders' outlook, but it will effect the FED's rate decision. We shall see how premarket price action and future react once the data drops around 8:30 am est.
I hope you all have a stress free and green HUMP DAY!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting slightly below yesterday’s close, currently. We had a red day yesterday, but it was more a spinning top day, as we didn’t see much movement in either direction. Volume has been very weak the last couple sessions, and that bearish divergence is a dark big dark cloud hanging over us. Things were fairly stagnant for the overall market, but we are going to see most of the major financial institutions report earnings between today and the end of this week. JPM and Wells Fargo both reported a miss on earnings this morning, but Goldman seems to have made it through Q3 in the green. Institutional confidence in banks is starting to unravel according to several recent reports and journalistic investigations; only about 35% of everyone surveyed for these reports stated they expect banks to see market growth. The vast majority of traders are most likely shorting banks or buying and selling puts against the banking sector. Most banks are finding it easier to sell/write loans than it is to find new sources of deposits, which is a serious shift in the dynamics of how they have always operated; weekly paycheck deposits are why banks have enjoyed a steady stream of cash flow for decades. Times are changing, and stable coins offering better yield than traditional banks are only going to exacerbate and speed up their eventual downfall. Banks that transition their customers to stable coins the fastest might have a chance..
Today in economic news we have Existing Homes sales and the NFIB Business Optimism Index (both) for September. Existing Homes Sales are expected to remain steady (flat) MoM, and Business Optimism was initially forecasted to see a decline, but consensus this morning is thinking we might actually see a slight uptick. This would be an interesting development that would be a solid demonstration that some of the changes in our domestic and foreign economic policies are starting to take hold on a base level, and will be showing up in the monthly economic figures as welcomed surprises. We will also see the September Monthly Treasury Balance this afternoon, which will give us a good indication of how things look now that the Treasury is stepping in to repurchase debt after the FED stopped growing its balance sheet again; could be dangerous waters we are treading in, or could create an atmosphere of untethered growth. Only time will tell. We also have several FED Board members speaking at public events today, so we have another opportunity to gauge the members’ opinions leading into the next FOMC rate decision.
BTC continued down toward the 50ma yesterday evening and into this morning when we actually tapped it around 9pm last night, which is when we started to bounce back upwards and we actually wicked back up to the $84k region, and we are now sitting right back at the $83k POC that we lost as support yesterday and now acts as resistance (once again). We really need to get back above $84k-$85k if we want to hold this level as the new local support. Bitcoin Market Dominance is moving back upward, and it currently pushing on a major resistance level that we haven’t been able to break and hold above since Early 2025. Are we finally going to see a break-out causing bitcoin to take back a larger percentage of the TOTAL crypto market cap? We shall see!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting slightly above (right around) Friday’s close, currently. We had a green day Friday and got close to tapping the ATH again, but we didn’t quite make it, and we wicked back down after tapping the previous ath from August, which again has me leaning toward a double top rejection at this level. We still have the strong weekly bearish divergence in play, and volume has been diminishing the last 4 sessions (since Tuesday’s spike). We also have DXY pushing up on the strong resistance that it’s been trying to break through for a week straight; will today finally see enough liquidity move into dollar instruments to get that push? Only time will tell… We are going to need a series of good news catalysts to get us over the current bearish sentiment most of the market is feeling. Many of the major financial institutions and funds have earnings reports this week; maybe we will see a bunch of positive reports to give us the catalyst we need, but I am highly skeptical.
Today’s economic calendar is fairly empty, aside from a few FED board members speaking at public events today. Later this week we will see the CPI and PPI data, as well as the Core Inflation numbers for September. These numbers will give us a good indication of what to expect from the next FOMC meeting, which is in 2 weeks.
BTC reclaimed the $83k support over the weekend, after seeing a decent drop at the end of last week, which was mostly a liquidity sweep for overleveraged longs. We did wick back above the 10day moving average early this morning, but we are now pushing back down on the support. We’ll see if she holds here to confirm we have flipped $83k back to support. We have seen a lot of increased on social media with many influencers calling for further downside, and some calling for alts to make new highs by the end of the year. We are firmly back in greed territory on the sentiment meter, and ETF outflows saw a good spike middle of last week, but the outflows seem to have slowed down quite a bit. Are we going to see a return to accumulation now that we have grabbed all the local liquidity? We’ll see how things play out this week!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Monday!
Let’s cross our fingers for some miracles this week!

Good Morning Everyone!
This weekend i am making a point to purchase a new cold storage wallet, and perhaps a brand new laptop to use with it. The recent warnings about ai models potentially breaking blockchain cryptography in the near future is a bit worrisome... The new wallet will be deposit only for a few years...No signing any outgoing transactions, as to keep it off the radar as much as possible. I think diversifying across multiple cold storage wallets is a safe bet.
The trend of Declining Inflows and Increasing Outflows seems to finally be reversing. We are trending the other way...Let's hope it continues...

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting near yesterday’s low, currently. We (technically) had a green day yesterday because we closed higher than we opened, but we ended the day below Tuesday’s close. We did finally close the gap we created between Monday and Tuesday, and now today things are looking fairly weak as futures are indicating another gap move at today’s open, but to the downside this time. We have seen volume diminishing the last 3 days, even though we have seen moves to the upside. We also created a new weekly bearish divergence with the new ATH we made on Tuesday. So, with a solid double top rejection, the inability to get back above Tuesday’s open after yesterday’s gap down, weak volume, and DXY still pushing upward it is likely we are going to see a good amount of downside over the next week, or so. Now, the only thing working in our favor is the Treasury is once again intervening by repurchasing another $6 billion worth of debt today. Will this buyback give us enough positive sentiment to overcome all the bearish indicators?, Unlikely, but only time will tell…
Today in economic news we have Wholesale Trade Inventories for August, The Atlanta FED GDPNow reading for Q3 will drop this afternoon, and we have several FED board members speaking today at events around the world. Wholesale inventories are expected to see a decline in growth MoM. The Atlanta GDPNow is the measurable GDP growth for the current quarter, and things are expected to remain flat around 3.7%. Yesterday’s release of the recent FOMC meeting minutes showed that most board members are eyeing another hike in rates yet this year, but maybe not in October.
BTC has firmly reversed to the downside and is pushing down toward the 50ma as we speak, and we are right where the May and September rallies peaked, so we are right at a major support zone, that will most likely be lost sooner than later. We are now firmly below the 10day moving average, and we are going to lose the 30day if we flip this current major support level back to resistance. The meter is still in Greed territory, but we are quickly moving back down the ladder toward neutral/fear. I am still bullish long term, but my bearish tendencies are creeping back in to my personal sentiment. To end with some positive news the Wall Street Journal yesterday posted an article stating that Ripple has emerged as a major competitor for Wall Street Banks; pretty soon it will be state banks and central banks. Keep stacking chips!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting below yesterday’s close, currently. We had a green day yesterday, and we made a new ATH. We did not see Monday’s gap get closed, and we created another local gap with Tuesdays open. Today we are likely to open back around Monday’s close, which might help us close some of these gaps we have been seeing due to the increase in volatility the markets have been experiencing recently. One thing we should all take into consideration is that we closed at the very same level as the previous ath, yesterday. This appears to be the second solid rejection from $779; we tapped $780 and immediately reversed course. Is this double top telling us it’s time to sell? Most analyst seem to think so. We are hearing more and more calls for a bubble popping any day now. We are even seeing major funds and advisors taking to social media to warn investors that historical trends are repeating, and that we are going to see a crash unlike anything we have seen in the past. There’s quite a few theories as to why…Japan, China, inflation, deflation, ai bubble, Russia and Ukraine, Iran, Israel, data centers, midterm elections, overleveraged private lenders/private credit, and I’m sure there are a few more I am missing, but the theme seems to be the same….the crash is coming! I certainly hope they are all wrong, but it’s getting harder and harder to ignore the signs and warnings coming from some very reputable analysts.
Today in economic news we have the Minutes from the last FOMC meeting dropping, which will give us a better idea of how most board members are leaning on interest rates and economic intervention. The Treasury department has been acting as the buyer of last resort in recent weeks, even though the FED usually ends up being the final back stop. Things are definitely getting interesting for both Fiscal and Monetary policy makers. We will also see the change in Consumer Credit for August, and the Consumer Inflation Expectation rating for September. I think would all agree that consumers are expecting inflation to tick upwards, and there is a good likelihood that we end up seeing more consumer credit growth than forecasted, but we’ll see how thing play out.
BTC has also seen a strong rejection from a double top, around the $86.5k-$87k range. There are several crypto influencers saying the same things we are hearing from wall street analysts…the top is in. Quite a few highly leveraged longs were liquidated or stopped out this morning, and we likely have a lot more downside once the traditional markets open. We technically have not broken below local support, yet. So, maybe if we all cross our fingers and wish upon a star we can reverse all the negative sentiment in the air this morning. Maybe this is just a retest of the 50ma before we break back in to the 90k’s….a guy can hope… I guess it is probably time to open a (small) short position to hedge the possible return to bear market conditions..
I hope everyone has a Wonderful HUMP DAY!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting right around Friday’s close, currently. We had a red day Friday, even though we gapped up at the open – we ended the day lower than we opened; we closed with a solid spinning top, which is an indecision candle. It is likely we will see the gap created between Thursday and Friday last week get closed today. We did see a bullish cross on the RSI to end last week, and volume has been on a slight upward trajectory last few sessions, but we are also likely to see an increase in volatility to start the week based on the VIX jumping upward at this the start of this morning’s session. We’ll see if we can hold above the local resistance we broke back above on Friday, especially if the US Dollar index continues pushing upward at the same time; several analysts are saying the US Dollar rally will likely continue. Interesting times! (Golden Era? 🤔)
Today in economic news we have S&P Global and ISM Services PMI’s for September, as well as the S&P Global Composite PMI. The S&P PMI’s are expected to see increases across the board, but the ISM (Strictly US) Services PMI is actually expected to remain relatively flat. This aligns nicely with the lower than expected inflation reading last week. It seems prices are stabilizing at current levels, for the most part; Energy costs are the one thing we will probably have to contend with the rest of this year, at least. I don’t think a ban on diesel exports is going to do what we hope it will do, we should probably just encourage other nations to ramp up their own energy exploration, and we should start approving the buildout of new nuclear facilities here in the US. Just my 2 cents, though.
BTC has broken back above the $85k resistance yesterday, and we are still holding above it this morning (for the most part), aside from a few retest wicks on the lower time frames. The recent crypto rally seems to be paired with a cooling off in stable coin dominance. However, most of those (stable coin) charts are now nearing oversold territory. Are we going to see a rotation back to stables as banks all start releasing their own stable coin networks offering strong yield to attract new customers? Was this just a bull trap to bring more liquidity over for the new banking networks? Or, is tokenization going to bring about a new super-cycle driven by mainstream adoption of blockchain products? Only time will tell..
I hope you all have a Wonderful Monday.
Make this week Amazing!

Good Morning Everyone!
I know everyone is calling this the top for BTC, and they are probably right. But, i am still crossing my fingers that we can break back in to the $90k's, and hold. It would be nice to see us back above the .618 fib ($93-ish-k), which would reclaim the major support we lost in January, and would likely invalidate the multiple bearish divergences that are in play. However, we are back in Greed territory and that usually means its time to take profit. We'll see how things play out as we head in to the weekend.

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting above yesterday’s close, currently. We had another red day yesterday after spending the first couple hours green; we rejected just below $770 again, and we closed just below the 50ma. Now this morning we will probably see a slight gap up to start the new session, and we will open right around the POC/Cost Basis, so we will see if a new local support is being confirmed, or if we are confirming a rejection and new local resistance. Early this morning we saw the US Dollar Index attempt to break through major resistance that we have been below since May 2025, and we have also see several weeks of a downtrend for the Dow Jones Industrial Average; as of yesterday’s close the Dow is now down 7% form its August high. The combination of these factors tells me we are still seeing liquidity being moved into dollar instruments, which is to be expected when bond yields continue pushing upward. We are about 2 months away from the next S&P rebalance, so intuition tells us that we should start respecting local support to make another move upward prior to that event, but we shall see how things actually play out. The markets have a mind of their own these days..
Today in economic news we have Construction Spending numbers from August, The ISM Manufacturing Report and PMI, as well as the S&P Global Manufacturing PMI for September. August Construction Spending was initially forecasted to see a decline in growth, but consensus this morning sees things remaining level over the last month; no growth, but no decline in growth, either. Manufacturing is hard to nail down these days with all of the promised reshoring, the promised new investments, and the reality of regulatory hurdles and red tape to overcome. Both in US and Globally the ISM and S&P Manufacturing PMIs are expected to see increases across the board, which shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone. It would be nice to see a surprise to the downside for any and all of the Purchasing Manager Indices, because the global cost of producing stuff is on the rise, and is becoming prohibitive.
BTC seems to be respecting the new local support we mentioned yesterday, but we still haven’t seen anything that would give us an indication of what to expect next. We now have some analysts calling for us to be back over $100k per btc by the time we reach 2027. There is always a bit of skepticism in my thinking, so there is always a chance this is just an extended bull trap before one final leg down right as we reach the midterm elections to really drive home how terrible the economy has been during the current administration, but I always have to remind myself that BTC doesn’t care who is in office. Crossing our fingers that the next stop is above 90k.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday (Pre-Friday)!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting right around yesterday’s open, currently. We had a red day yesterday following a dismal Consumer Confidence rating and a less than stellar jobs report. We wicked down to tap the 50ma, which held and we saw a small bounce. It would be nice to see us hold above the 50ma today, as well. Things were looking fairly weak in early trading, but we are now seeing some signs of life as we see some upward momentum starting to build. It would be nice to see us break back above the local support level we haven’t been able to hold, yet (around $767-$768). There is increasing speculation that we could see a short squeeze in securities and bonds, as further monetary intervention seems all too likely in the coming weeks. However, one of Moody's chief analysts says he is getting more nervous about the state of the average consumer in the US having to deal with inflation, wage stagnation, and a combination of decreased saving with rising borrowing costs, all spell disaster for the middle class. This is why I continue to call for much lower benchmark rates. The ONLY way to spur real economic growth is to bring the cost of borrowing way down. No one is comfortable taking on further risk; when rates are this high the cost of taking on risk is too high for more entrepreneurs.
Today in economic news we have PCE and Core PCE (Personal Consumption Expenditures; Personal Income and Consumer Expenditures, as well) for August, as well as Wholesale & Retail Inventories and Trade Balance figures, all for August. Most of this is so far delayed that it won’t have much effect on the market, but the final adjustment for Q2 GDP will most likely move prices a bit, which came in well the expected 1.5%; 2.2% was the final outcome for Q2 GDP for the US. Economic growth is not as dismal as we were lead to believe, but we certainly aren’t keeping up with inflationary pressure at this rate. Reshoring manufacturing is a slow process, but we should start seeing the incremental growth show in the numbers over the next year, or so…
BTC seems to have found a local floor around $83k. We have seen diminishing volume over the past week, or so, but we might be seeing the start of another leg up if we can break thought strong resistance at $87-ish-k. We’ve been struggling to hold above $87k since late 2024; a close above $90k would be a good indication that we have flipped it back to support. We did see another bullish cross on the daily RSI with this mornings pump, but there just isn’t much volume behind it right now... We’ll see if things continue looking toward the upside once the traditional markets open.
I hope you all have a wonderful HUMP DAY! 🐫🐫🐫

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting above yesterday’s close, but below the open, currently. We had a red day yesterday after gapping down (slightly) at the open. We wicked down below the 10-day and 30-day moving averages, but we wicked back up to close above the 10-day moving average; we held above the 50ma, and volume has been gradually increasing (small increments) over the last couple of weeks, but we seem to have hit a plateau on momentum (once again). Implied volatility is on the lower end of the spectrum, so we could really use some new catalysts to move the market (preferably upward), but most of the potential catalysts seem to be the unwanted sort. We are flirting with a bearish cross on the relative strength indicator, and market sentiment seems to be tanking as inflation ticks back upward and fuel prices reach new highs, so a rejection and larger correction would appear to be the evident path forward, as of right now. But we’ll see how PCE and GDP look like tomorrow…
Today in economic news we have Case-Schiller Home Price Index from July (delayed), the JOLT’s jobs report for August, and the Conference Board Consumer Confidence rating for September. Obviously, I think we all know Home Prices are back on the rise, and the number of buyers continues to decline. Jobs numbers are not looking much better with analysts forecasting a half percentage point decline in job openings, but job quits are forecasted to remain flat. Consumer confidence is also forecasted to see a very slight decline; it would be nice to se a surprise to the upside here. There are several FED board members speaking across the country today including the University of Buffalo, the Detroit Economic Club, and the Illinois Manufacturers Association to name a few.
BTC has currently sitting slightly below $85k. We had a red day yesterday, but we haven’t seen much movement the last 5 days, or so. We are still below vwap, but we are sitting above the lower-high from May, so the recent ETF inflows and Strategy buys are a welcomed sign that we might actually be seeing accumulation increasing. We are currently seeing liquidity rotating through alts, but only time will tell if this is simply relief rally, or if we have (in fact) seen the bottom for this cycle. We shall see!
I hope you all have a wonderful Tuesday!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting right around Friday’s open, currently. We had a green day Friday after wicking down to test the 10 day moving average, which seems to be holding for the time being, but we could also see a retest of the 50ma. A hold above the 10day would give us a better indication if we have (indeed/finally) broken out from the consolidation (flag) pattern that we have been building since the August rejection from $780; a retest of the 50ma would likely mean we have wait out an additional accumulation period at these levels. We haven’t seen any significant spikes in volume either way, which is usually a good indication that market is (fairly) balanced. The Dow Jones corrected a bit further than the S&P this time, but we finally saw bullish cross on the RSI Friday, so we are crossing our fingers that we have finally reached the bottom of this local correction without losing major support, around $51.5k. We have also created some local bullish divergence with the reversal we saw at the end of last week for the DOW. Let’s hope we start the week off nice and green, especially following the recent announcement of tariff reductions for $30b worth of Chinese Imports that was announced last week, following the visit by China’s leader.
Today in economic news we have the Dallas Manufacturing Index numbers, and a few FED presidents will participate in a 2 day economics event in New York, discussing everything from economic development to education. Texas manufacturing is expected to continue seeing growth MoM, but forecasts have this month coming in a lot lower than previous periods; we’ll see how the actual numbers look later this morning. Hopefully the decline in growth is just a case of hesitant forecasting, rather than the actual expected outcome. Later this week we will see 3rdrevision of Q2 GDP, as well PCE data for August and Q2 overall.
BTC is currently pushing down on the local support, around $83k. Volume has fallen off quite a bit since the recent pump saw the second week of September. We still have the higher time frame bearish divergence in play, and after the recent upward momentum we have seen from alts, there are several traders and analysts calling the local top, as well as stating they have opened new short positions to capture the fall from here to $50k for BTC. I continue to be skeptical that we are (actually) going to see a drop to $50k, but you never know. Don’t get me wrong, I would welcome one more lower buying opportunity for several assets I hold, but the markets rarely ever move where the majority of people are expecting it to move, and the majority of traders think this was just a bull trap. We’ll see how thing play out, and we continue to DCA until we reach our goal!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting above yesterday’s high, currently. It looks like we may see a gap up at the open today; we gapped down yesterday which filled most of the gap we created at Monday’s open, but we pushed upward for most of the day which filled the daily-open gap, as well. We have definitely seen a good amount of repositioning in the market this week, indicated by the wild intraday swings we have seen the last few weeks (even more-so this week). Nike fell out of the S&P100 this week; we also saw several tech companies move up the list of S&P 100 and 500 companies, and several long-standing retail brands (Molson-Coors and Colgate-Palmolive) removed from those Indices. Historically, we haven’t seen monthly volume this low (Aug and Sept) since 2004. There is a lot of speculation that this is the precursor to a larger correction, but I think we are actually seeing liquidity move to different markets; essentially, we are seeing a diversification of legitimate investment opportunities, rather than being limited to only the stock and bond markets. Tokenization has reached mainstream adoption levels. I think we will see a lot of green skies and blue grass until the horizon. Beyond the horizon, who knows, but right now we have amazing opportunities to stack chips.
Today in economic news we have Durable Goods Orders from August, and the Final September (Michigan) Consumer Sentiment Rating. Overall, most analysts were expecting a decline in growth across the board, however if we remove Transportation and Defense spending the forecasts looked a lot better. What actually printed was quite the surprise with absolutely no change to overall Durable Goods MoM; we got a big surprise in Non Defense orders with growth well over 1%. Are we starting to see spending pick back up? Are some sectors stabilizing better more than is being reported? Only time will tell… Consumer Sentiment is expected to see a marked decline MoM, but there is always a chance we see a surprise to the upside, however unlikely it may (actually) be. We also have several FED board members speaking at events today, which always gives us an idea of the members’ individual thoughts on inflation progress and the steps they’d like the FED to take next. We listen and we (absolutely) judge! (lol!)
BTC closed yesterday with a spinning top-like candle that actually looks almost like a hammer, which usually indicates we have reached the bottom of the current downward push. It would be nice to see us develop a new (strong) support level here, above $80k. A nice consolidation period between $83-ish-K and $87-ish-k would be a good sign that we have, in fact, bottomed and are not back to bull market accumulation. However, most of us are well aware that a trap is not invalidated until all of the levels have been retested and have held firmly. Liquidity sweeps are always going to happen, but as long those wicks get bought back up to close above support, we can be confident in our assessment. We do have several bearish divergences to work through, and we are still firmly below VWAP, so we aren’t out of the woods yet. However, sentiment seems to be growing in our favor, and big money is making big moves into the blockchain space through tokenization, which means time is on our side! We continue to DCA toward future freedom!
I hope everyone has a wonderful Friday and Weekend!

Good Morning Everyone!
SPY Premarket is sitting right around yesterday’s low, currently. We had a red day yesterday, but we didn’t really see much movement, and we ended the day with a spinning top candle. Usually this indicates we have reached an indecision area where buyers and sellers are jockeying for control. Being that we just saw a recent bullish pump, this likely means we are going to see a retest of previous resistance to see if we have officially flipped to support, or if this just a quick liquidity sweep. The recent upswing has also created some (very slight) local bearish divergence, so while we have seen macd flip bullish, we are most likely going to see further indecision, and perhaps some quick wicks while we figure out if continuation or correction are next on the agenda.
Today in economic news we have S&P Flash Services and Manufacturing PMI’s. Analysts are expecting things to remain relatively unchanged from last month, but both were forecasted to see slight declines MoM. However, if we keep in mind that these are lagging indictors, there is a good chance we see a surprise to the upside based recent on commodity futures movements over the past month. Oil futures have come back down to retest a major support that help from March through June, before we saw a dip due to SPR releases, but I would imaging it holds this time, unless we further drain our strategic reserves, which probably wouldn't be very strategic if we do… We shall see..
BTC has rejected from the VWAP the last three days, now. It doesn’t look like we are going to find the momentum to break through, unless we get see further catalysts announced by the Treasury or FED that would warrant moving further into the risk-on matrix. We poked into overbought territory a few days ago, but we are flirting with falling back below that threshold, now. If we can hold this level while we consolidate before another leg upward, I’d be OK with that. But, my skeptical side still fears this could still be a bull trap. Hopefully my anxiety isn’t shared by the whales. We’ll see how things play out over the next few days. Can we hold above $80k? Only time will tell...
I hope everyone has a wonderful #HUMPDAY!
