I see a lot of people shredding Rays fans for not filling up Tropicana Field. I don’t think any of you have ever been to that dump. It takes forever to get there from Tampa, it’s in St Pete, across a very long bridge that doubles as a parking lot. It’s absolutely brutal to get to. I went to a Rangers playoff game there in ‘23. I stayed in downtown Tampa and it’s about 20 miles to the stadium, it took 2 hours to get in and out. It’s an all day event. Tampa generally has good sports fans and this won’t happen when their new field is done.
