We always hear about the things Russia are doing near to our land or territorial waters. Do we/NATO not do similar things? I’m not saying what happened yesterday was fine but isn’t his just part of the game that both sides play? Happy to be corrected by any informed source.

Much as I dislike GB News & am not a fan of Camilla Tominey, this is the best demolition of Jenrick I have seen today. The BBC & Laura Kuenssberg in particular should take note. Jenrick is made to look the pathetic little turncoat that he is.
It would be really great if the only comments after the release of the DIP came from military personnel, who know exactly what is needed & whether this plan is sufficient or not. Ill-informed comments from keyboard warriors and bots should be ignored. They know nothing.

Starmer is resigning because he became unreasonably hated - partly because of too many self-inflicted mistakes and partly because social media+Farage +the wider right have created a loathing and hatred culture. Burnham is right to seek time to prepare. The same forces await him.

Last week it was hard to find anything on X where someone was supporting Starmer v Burnham. Then, immediately before & since Burnham’s by-election win, my feed has been bombarded with messages saying Starmer shouldn’t stand down. Looks like the bots have been at work.
