musk manipulated the algorithm to preferentially amplify right wing content immediately after buying twitter. We've known this for over a year now. Stop contributing value to the cesspool and just leave. It really is that simple.

Given that I went from posting multiple times a day to this being my 4th engagement in the past year vs. bsky where I participate multiple times a day: no. I don't.
There's a difference between my account existing here and it being active.

...said the idiot who doesn't know the difference between an account existing and it being active.
Look at the posting history. I left for bsky over a year ago and haven't looked back. I used to post multiple times a day here, this was the 4th time I posted in the past year.

The main thing you are accomplishing by staying is giving your followers more reason to stay and expose themselves to propaganda/malign influence. You are contributing to the disinformation problem by choosing to be active on this platform. The only winning move is not to play.

Remember: by participating on twitter, you are adding value to it, thereby incentivizing others to join/stay, and amplifying the voice/reach of the people who set its algorithm's biases.
Is this the ideology you want to amplify? Because if you are here, you are amplifying this.
