Some perspective from someone who was in the industry: 1. Friday wedding. Saturday is what pays the bills. 2. "Partial refund" on a rebooked date? For those specific reasons, and those alone, I'm against them. The loss of revenue is hard. A full refund would be losing out on $20k-$30k, but you gotta bite the bullet in this scenario. The credits are great, yes.. but you're telling me if an even more expensive event scheduled for November 20th, you'd still not give them the full $16k? Ridiculous.

Realistically, zero chance the thrust version becomes street legal in 95% of the country. In the other 5% I can't see it being much more than a gimmick that might not even be used. Real news here is the performance model without the rocket and thruster. I like the look, I just can't drop $50k on a reservation.

This might sound absolutely crazy - but now might be a GOOD time to buy a house. Almost no competition, very little demand, rising inventory, 7%+ rates, all while seller’s are approaching a slow holiday season. Lowball offers might get accepted here for those who are patient and play the numbers game.
