Hi, long time no see. The reason I disappeared was because Twitter moderation team (aka Mecha Grok) thought I was impersonating an official TF2 account, which resulted in my account and several other TF2-related accounts being suspended for the same reason, such as the TF2 Wiki

TF2 has received a change in the item schema, in which you can obtain items from Poker Night 1 in an unknown AppID (unless they added it as a placeholder and it's for a different game)

I've been told by a couple of people now that Valve are not going to be issuing new medals for @TeamFortress comp medals. Existing tournament medals will be honoured but after this season, no more.

It looks like Valve messed up and changed something in the Game Coordinator, causing it to fail to acknowledge XP from recent matches, which results in sound spam. As a band-aid fix to stop the sound spam, you can run this command in the console: tf_mainmenu_match_panel_type 8

Smissmas 2025 has ended, and the following maps: Abbey, Gavle, Sidewinder, and Winter Ridge are now part of the normal Casual matchmaking map rotation. This brings the total to 103 maps in Core Game Modes.

Apparently Eric has responded to another email about the mvm update. "We don't want to rush it". Still keeping my expectations low, but I do wonder if playtesting the new maps isn't the only work they're parsing for the update atm.
