Thielism is right. Freedom is good. Economic freedom = wealth and individual freedom = innovation. But most people don't want freedom, they want to be told what to do and, more importantly, they want "free" shit paid for by "other people." Freedom has to be imposed, paradoxically

The Soviets drained an entire sea for their industry, and China's factory smog is infamous. Yet our leftists and libs freak out over cutting down trees and digging into mountains. Really starting to notice that this whole "national industrialization" thing is just another LARP

bUt mUh gEnOcIdE. At no point in the history of genocide has the purportedly genocided people threatened to relaunch the war after a ceasefire in the purported genocide. Palestinians are full of shit. They’re just terrorists.

I'm not sure I understand the problem, are we supposed to just keep natural resources in the ground forever and never extract them?

My ideology is scientific and progressive. We need to support Filipino scientists and engineers. This is why I'm going to mock the President for talking about the Philippine space program - that money should instead go to welfare for poor people to blow on scatter and Red Horse

Even mid-level political appointees in government have 3-5 positions they can fill with their own people. Same with elected officials. Entrepreneurs, of course, can hire their own people as they see fit. So we should be finding and hiring our frens, lift each other up
Becoming the new elite is truly great advice. If you want to fight for the Philippines, do this. Consolidate power. Unlike the left, we're results oriented. We moving like the ilustrados.

As always it's the system that's the problem. Work in politics and you'll see that a lot of our elite, even trapos, are smart people who want to do some good. They aren't evil caricatures. But our system ensures that no one is actually in charge and no one can effect real change

from what i can say these days we do have a lot of freshly sharp people with great leadership but we are still stuck to voting the old ones who clearly no longer understands the full view of the modern times so int the end we are still stuck with the old systems

The ugliest and most obnoxious losers in Filipino politics called me a "fascist." I guess I'll have to renounce all of my old beliefs and pledge allegiance to the Eternal Leader Joma Sison

Russia straight up bombed in and around Ukraine's nuclear plants and nothing happened. Fukushima was built in the 60's and Chernobyl was built in the 70's. The newest generation of nuclear reactors are incredibly safe
even if we assume na DOST-PNRI is competent (and their research reactor has gotten positive reviews) the legitimate risk remains lol the Philippines is in the Ring of Fire. Earthquake, tsunami, typhoon, and volcanic risks are real.

Yeah I don't care, if you support, aid, or abet the NPA then you should be considered an enemy and a target
Ummm... suppose that they are communists, that also doesn't mean they're NPA... that's the literal definition of red-tagging.

One thing I will always respect about the Israelis is that they'll just shoot these people in the head.
Both terrorists who carried out the shooting attack a short time ago in the West Bank are dead.

If you're a young Filipino rightist, what you're supposed to do is get good grades, graduate from a good school, join our government (especially our security services, foreign service, economic agencies), start a business and succeed, then slowly replace our elite with a new one
Our leftists want armed mass revolution because it's an excuse to not do anything except LARP and have performative feel-good protests, it's like waiting for the eschaton/the Rapture/the Second Coming but for politics

Play politics, be pragmatic, but always keep your principles. That's the real path to power, not hoping that "the masses" will wake up one day and overthrow our degenerate and decadent system

I've reviewed the original safety and design documents and toured the plant three times. I've also read the feasibility studies from the Koreans on putting it into service. This plant was state-of-the-art at the time. Minor upgrades would bring it up to global current standards. Opposition comes from factions in the Church, some local political families who would turn it into a resort and golf course, and some of those invested in expensive LNG import. The country needs PNPP-1 and many more if you want to compete on the global stage.

“Might makes right” is not a real ideology. It's a rhetorical strawman used to attack amorality, social Darwinism, the will to power, meritocratic hierarchy, and realpolitik, none of which entail the belief that power confers moral legitimacy.

>Pinoy Xitter writing long threads about whether the Philippines is fascist The simplest argument is this: if my friends and I form a freikorps and start rounding up leftists, the "fascist" PNP will arrest us instead of giving us medals. Therefore, the Philippines is not fascist

Small businesses existed in socialist Cuba too. Then Castro nationalized tens of thousands of them in 1968, including barbershops. “Allowed until the government changes its mind” is a hell of a guarantee for your life’s work.

Not really seeing the problem here. We can argue all day about who "really owns" that land or who "really deserves" it but in the end it's all about who was better at fighting for it, and the Palestinians and their Arab friends sucked at warfare so they kept losing.
"empty desert into prosperity" pero ganto yung galawan 🙃 para kayong sirang plaka e, wala na bang bagong naratibo diyan?
