This week, we celebrated a piece of West Texas history! Diamondback donated a 1956 Lufkin C640DB-144-30 pumping unit to @PetroleumMuseum. This 70-year-old piece of equipment is the first of only 39 units ever produced and now stands as a permanent fixture welcoming museum visitors, a reminder of the people and innovation that shaped the Permian Basin.

Diamondback’s DNA Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) Mentorship Meet and Greet brought @Midland_College students and mentors together to build connections, share experiences, and begin relationships that shape future careers. Through our partnership with Midland College, Diamondback employees are helping bridge the gap between education and industry by bringing real-world knowledge directly into the classroom. Throughout the year, mentors will support hands-on learning, reinforce course material, and share career insights with students preparing for careers in the oil and gas industry. Our Oklahoma City team recently traded the office for an afternoon of family and fun at Andy B's Bowl Social. From bowling and arcade games to axe throwing, face painting, and more, there was something for everyone to enjoy. This fun employee engagement experience was a great chance to step away from the workday, connect with one another, and make memories with families!

Our support for @Midland_College (MC) and our region’s future energy workforce continues! Diamondback is expanding its long-standing commitment through a $1 million investment in the college's Instrumentation & Electrical (I&E) and Automation program. The gift builds on our mentorship program with MC, strengthens workforce development, expands hands-on training, and grows mentorship opportunities for students preparing to enter the energy workforce right here in the Permian Basin. To mark the occasion, our team was honored to join MC leadership for a check presentation on campus with students in the I&E Mentorship Program and community and industry stakeholders.

Last week, our Information Technology team hosted the first-ever Diamondback AI Innovation Summit at the Bush Convention Center. This employee-focused conference was packed with practical AI training, real-world demos, and dedicated face time with experts. This multifaceted experience for our teams is one of many ways we invest in our people, foster innovation, and prepare our workforce for the future.

Midland's newest athletic facility has been buzzing since the grand opening! From youth sports programs to community events and open play, the complex reflects our deeply rooted commitment to the health, character, and future of the next generation in West Texas. Diamondback STEAM Camp 2026 has come to a close! During the third and final week, campers explored geoscience and the energy industry. A focus of the week included empowering students to harness exploration, innovation, and leadership to impact the world around them. It’s been a privilege to work with these talented young women this summer. We give a big round of applause for our volunteers, mentors, and community partners for building this experience to inspire and motivate the next generation.
