Every non-government school in Australia is either funded at the level David Gonski recommended, is above it, or is on track to be there by the end of the decade. But no public school is, apart from here in the ACT.
That gap needs to close.
Today we were led by Uncle Wes, who is 101 years young, as we officially opened our Yarning Circle for NAIDOC week. An absolute privilege to be able to share this special occasion with local elders, family and friends on Dharug country. #naidoc2023 @kember_toni
Always inspired when working with this group of awesome educators! Great collaboration at our Bungarribee APCI network meeting.@mrscathyfrancis @kember_toni
Thank you, Sydney, for turning on this glorious weather 🙏 If I must spend my long-weekend editing reports, it is nice to be able to do it outside, in the fresh air and with the sun on my back!
Privileged to be able to attend the launch of the department's Innovate Reconciliation Action and 'Be a Voice for Generations' @dizdarm @colleen21573 #NRW2023
Proud to launch the department’s new Innovate RAP today. This new plan gives us a chance to try, test, & establish our approach to advance reconciliation. We all have a role to play in reconciliation & I thank those who shared their stories at the launch. education.nsw.gov.au/about-u…

Wonderful to hear from the Bungarribee network AP C&I team today. Collective efficacy at its best. Contextualised support for student benefit. Congratulations @kember_toni @PDermilio @Gardner_Tim1 @DiamondRenai @DebSummerhayes
Such a wonderful experience for our team to spend Staff Development Day at @BrewongleEEC, engaging in learning about local Aboriginal culture. It was a privilege to 'learn on and about country', and ways to further integrate Aboriginal education in our teaching and learning.

Great to have the continued commitment from the Bungarribee Leadership network coupled with the support of @DiamondRenai.
Zooming with the second half of the network tomorrow afternoon.
So proud of our executive staff from across schools, and even networks, who are continuing their team approach, albeit virtually, to the authentic completion of NSW Public School Leadership and Management Credentials. @kember_toni @KendalBaxter @GardinerKLG @tracleemc
