Do you know what to do when an earthquake strikes? Earthquakes can happen without warning, and knowing how to respond can help keep you safe. On Thursday, Oct. 15, at 10:15 a.m., join the nationwide Great California ShakeOut earthquake drill and take one minute to practice three important safety steps: - DROP: Get down on your hands and knees. - COVER: Protect your head and neck under a sturdy table or desk. - HOLD ON: Stay protected until the shaking stops. If no table or desk is nearby, move next to an interior wall away from windows and protect your head and neck. Whether you're at home, work or school, take a minute to practice earthquake safety and be better prepared when the ground starts shaking. 👉 Learn more or register for the drill at shakeout.org.
