1/5 Sharjeel Imam has given an interview detailing his Islamist manifesto. Surprisingly, no storm has been kicked up over pronouncements that are so unapologetically anti-liberal, anti-secular, anti-democracy, anti-Constitution—in a word, anti-national.
2/5 He openly calls the Constitution fascist, labels secularism a trap, and denounces democracy as a contrivance to deny Muslims their political rights.
3/5 The piece is a litany of indictments against the liberal class. Imam rejects any difference between liberals and Hindutvadis. In his essentialist worldview, all Hindus are the same, unanimous in denying Muslims political power they claim as a divine right.
4/5 Inadvertently, Sharjeel has recognised something that liberals have been fighting shy of acknowledging: that Hindutva’s idea of India is anchored in the same “overarching nationalist framework”— that Muslims are Indians above all else.
5/5 For more, read this Opinion article by Ibn Khaldun Bharati, who looks at Islam from an Indian perspective:
Sharjeel Imam’s Islamist manifesto will be forgotten. The silence of liberals will not

Bengal voters will take into account whtever @Rajyasree has alleged. And also all the antics of Rahul.
No wonder they stalled all protests. Baba had to go for vacation.

The shooting involving Tiger Shroff, claimed in the name of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, raises a key question: how do investigators establish that Bishnoi himself ordered the attack?
He is lodged in the high-security Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
I put this question to one of his former associates and his lawyer. Both raised the same point: anyone can carry out a shooting and then post on social media claiming it was done on Bishnoi’s behalf. Such a claim, by itself, does not establish that Bishnoi ordered the attack. Investigators would need evidence linking him to the attack, such as proof that he communicated with his associates, through a mobile phone or other means, to plan or authorise it.
They are talking as if he is dead.
Last video of Tiger Shroff before attack on him.

As suspected, this was just a show....
Yesterday was Elon’s greatest magic trick.
It got everybody believe an amazing technological gap had just been made.
I got fooled too.
At first, I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. I was so excited.
And don’t get me wrong , the technology, the precision at which the car did what it did, was fabulous.
However, it was not a car doing it.
And that is the true, Machiavellic genius of Elon.
There is no flying car.
There is no car at all.
It was an empty shell. As light as possible. No seats. Nothing.
Full of gas tanks.
With a maximum of 2 secs of thrust usage.
In other words, it was a drone.
A drone with a shell that looked like a car.
Imagine if it had been a square piece of metal instead.
You would have said “nice”.
The truth is, it is nothing more than that.
It was not the car that you will see in the street. It was just a piece of light metal, that had the same body as the one you wil buy.
The technology exists since a long time.
If nobody did it, it’s not that they didn’t think about it’s it’s because it is not sustainable.
It is not achievable.
So why were we fooled ?
Because most people can’t imagine the biggest entrepreneur and genius of our century would have put millions into a show and be ruthless enough to put a fake car in a demonstration with the goal of selling something that will have nothing to do with what he is showing.
It was a show. A spectacle. Pure manipulation. Ruthless, immoral marketing.
The whole “ socialism vs capitalism” or “Europe vs America” we are seeing is the result of a fabulously done propaganda.
The car doesn’t fly.
It never will.
Most importantly,
there wasn’t any car on that show.
But the brainwashed idiots that we are will rush to buy it, waiting for another two years ( 9 have passed already since the preorders), only to receive something that has nothing to do with what we have seen.
Expect the shell.
But in 2026, it seems it is what we are. Empty shells for which entertainment and lies are enough to make us dance like apes.
Porsche maybe didn’t do a flying demonstration.
But at least they will deliver exactly what they have shown. And it will drive better than any Tesla ever will ( especially if it weights two fugging tons).
"Done more for India"? Dreze gave us bureaucratic rationing and anti growth entitlement economics that kept generations trapped in poverty so that foreign academics could win development awards. While @sanjeevsanyal treats India as a rising economic power, operationalizing the +

Such an ignorant take. Stand Up comedians should stick to making jokes and not comment on things they have absolute no clue about.
India is a country of over 140 crore people. A bunch of duffers screaming does not mean the entire country is screaming.

I dont respect this take at all, I find it privileged and out of touch. as diaspora, its hypocritical to spend a lifetime begging our white counterparts to be aware of their privilege & see us as human and turn around and deny the same consideration and humanity to people in India who are begging us to stand with them. especially when wealthy upper caste NRIs are a big big reason BJP is still in power and so well funded. I will do everything I can to fight for an India that is 100% democratic, safe for all minority communities, and free of gender violence.
Xan easily make out who constitute most of this crowd Rathee has surrounded himself with.
This chap steps foot in India next, he will be having it.
It is obvious for Dilip DSouza to not understand numbers. And of course he will blame the author for that.

Nothing says “foreign funded” louder than a protest in London, stuffed with Mirpuris bussed in by the Pakistani Embassy - who refuse to say “Bharat mata ki jai”
Yunus has fucked Bangladesh big time during his months in charge. Kids are dying of measles because he bungled the vaccination programme.
That he is getting feted inspite of it by the Clinton's show who he was actually working for.
See this my countrymen and women and learn!!
Bangladesh Colour Revolution: India Should Pay Attention.
Yunus stood on a stage in New York with Bill Clinton and named Mahfuz Alam as the brain behind the revolution. His exact words: it was meticulously designed, it didn’t just come suddenly.
Two years later, Neha Bora >> the student leader the NYT and BBC are now calling the face of India’s protests >> puts out a video thanking Bangladesh’s Gen Z for showing them the way.
Same vocabulary. Same playbook.
People keep asking if there’s a foreign hand. Yunus answered that question himself, on camera, in front of Clinton.
India should really pay attention.
What is happening right now in India is exactly the same colour revolution playbook.

Let us get inspired by Japan for its culture, America for its innovation, Germany for its engineering, Singapore for its discipline and Switzerland for its precision. Let us learn from the best in the world.
Yet, the irony is that some choose to be inspired by Bangladesh.
Rahul has yet again screwed his loyal cadre.
Pained by the importance Rahul & Priyanka gave to AISA President Neha Bora, Congress student wing NSUI renamed its official WhatsApp group ‘We The Chhotu’, reports @JainendraKumar: ndtv.com/india-news/we-the-c…
