If only they had made it $100 mm guarantee I'm sure it would've filled then. @capjack2000 wins the most delusional take of the year in survivor space. Couldn't agree to terms for his 5/1 bet that of overlay but I would've won without even accounting for rake reductions given
Sorry, but a nationwide Survivor contest with the advertising scope of Polymarket and Splash should have a guarantee of $100m. $21m is laughable. That just ensures it’ll reach the full 22,700 entries and have a 7.5% vig.

Seems everyone has picked their side of Circa vs Splash. I think both products are terrific and glad to see innovation in both. Rising tide lifts all boats. Props to @tjross and @JeffreyBenson12 Team entries and a marketplace is a win. Helps users extract value in a WTA format.
We just put up the biggest Guaranteed Survivor contest in history. $21 million, with Polymarket. Now we’re changing how Survivor itself works, with two upcoming launches: 📈 The Splash Survivor Marketplace 👥 Team Entries

My philosophy when I used to hire traders was that the optimal number of past blow ups was one.

Imagine thinking that your moral superiority over market makers is your ability to get people to start gambling and then keeping them addicted for as long as possible, or as Matt calls it “attracting and retaining customers.”

Congrats to @splashsports for becoming the biggest guaranteed NFL survivor prizepool, beating out @CircaSports's $20 mm gtd. Same $1k buy-in but you can sign up and play from the comfort of your own home!
🏈💰 BREAKING: The largest NFL survivor pool in history just dropped — $21 million on the line, available in 35 states and Canada. Here's the story 🧵👇 @Polymarket @splashsports @shayne_coplan

Obv this is laughable, but it’s interesting how much this is called out while a proxy service charging $1k for 10 lineups is seen as acceptable. Median entry survives 3 weeks. So a proxy charges $100/entry to click 3 buttons. And then they expect a 5-10% tip if you actually win!
Some people don’t like my prices because they want me to be a Sucker and give everything away for free, just because thousands of people follow me on Twitter. I’m not that stupid. If you’re cheap you’ll get free information about 30% of the weeks.

Seems like Trump’s hedge to keep Republicans in power is to give Rubio the credit for Iran strikes and give Vance the credit for opposing the decision. Depending on the success of the operation, you’ll have one leader be able to run a presidential campaign on the correct side.

I am sad. Really wanted that blazer. Fun contest @CircaSports and special thanks to @JeffreyBenson12 and @LastMenPod the work you’ve done is much appreciated. 2nd year in a row we’ve gone 19-1 so the feeling is quite familiar. But as a seasoned vet of @ElliotRoe1 we’re on to the next. Hope to offer some survivor related products next year, so be on the lookout for us. Good luck to everyone else and enjoy the rest of your sweats

Shoutout to @PeteTarz who will probably be the only person in Circa Survivor history to lose week 18 two years in a row. Hell of an accomplishment @CircaSports @LastMenPod @SurvivorAtlas @SurvivorSweat @JeffreyBenson12

He was on -400s both week 18s, which means this was 16 times more difficult to do than winning twice in a row.

A reminder to touch some grass and try to live in the moment. Enjoy and embrace all the struggles that life brings on. There's a lot to be thankful for.
This is going to stick with me forever

Now anyone who is playing WAS on XMAS will lose a ton of value by duping Jax with partz.
No one’s ever recorded/shared their 7fig circa pick being submitted before…and on a Wednesday, at that!

Draftkings started actually telling you how much you cash for in their "you've won" emails. No better way of knowing I turned $3.4k into $6

Such an obvious take from a guy who got banned from MtG tournaments for cheating (bending cards to draw them more often) This event really showed how poor people's morals are. Can't imagine how many in poker get staked and make a deal heads up to intentionally lose to fuck backer
Replying to @BryanMicon
You either want to see two players capture an extra milly from an entity likely to rake 10 figs or you want to see two players lose 2+ milly because you’re a jealous little bitch. Fixed it for you.

The most vocal critics of the debt and deficit tend to be people who run successful trading businesses: Dalio, Griffin, Druckenmiller, Singer, Solomon, Gross, Dimon, Gundlach, etc. Here's my theory why... Every successful trading business is grounded in risk management. Long-term success depends on avoiding systemic blowups. These managers are confident their platforms will thrive over time, but only if they steer clear of tail-risk events and so they're acutely focused on avoiding them. The US is the most successful platform the world has ever seen. This country has delivered enormous gains in living standards and health and has tremendous potential to continue doing so, but only if it avoids the tail-risk events. Excessive debt is one of those. It poses an existential risk for a country. Nobody can predict when, how, or even if excessive debt will trigger a crisis, just as no trader can predict when a poorly managed position might implode. That uncertainty is no excuse to ignore the risk. That's what bothers traders about the national debt. The US is holding a position with significant and potentially catastrophic risk for little benefit. And instead of managing it responsibly, it keeps adding exposure. In trading, ignoring risk is the most reliable path to collapse. The same holds true in governing a country.
