The American war for independence was not a war against the British people. It was in fact people, some of which were formerly British saying NO to tyranny. I sometimes wonder if within the next five years we will have our very own 1776 moment.

The Labour Conference , filled with public sector employees, with tax payer pensions, from education, health, the civil service. Topped off with the media and the luvies, (champagne socialists) Talking about workers rights, as their crippling ideas force employers towards agency staff to avoid them. Their tax and energy plans that have caused an exodus of entrepreneurs and business owners to literally flee the country taking jobs and money with them. They talk about LGBT as though gay people don't vote for any other party ! They're in for a shock, they do😆 The ballooning benefit system is way past helping the needy. Claiming to have some syndrome that means the state part funds your new BMW that you couldn't afford without it is sheer indulgence. Labour dumped the working man years ago and replaced his vote share with immigrants, a growing nucleus of people as I'm sure you've noticed 🙄 Newcomers always vote socialist once they get the right to vote .it's a thing❗ But we don't need to concern ourselves with the front bench, they're just the political equivalent of Deliveroo, dropping off the sound bites and legislation that the all powerful Blairite civil service prepared earlier. They talk about business, yet none of them have ever run one . Then there's the guest speakers that benefit from lucrative government contracts that the tax payer funds. That said, The Tories are to blame for our steady decline Labour are just benefitting from the mess that was handed to them on a plate by Rishi, a weak front man that didn't want to be a PM on a war footing .... allegedly. Another face nobody voted for. Forget party memberships, the MSM and the polls , there are millions of politically detached people not following politics day to day, they're just trying to get by and they'll vote for the same party as me.

This whole Jason Arday saga just seems too “perfect”, personally suspect it has been engineered and played out by a cast seeking a British George Floyd situation.

Being Prime Minister is about making the difficult decisions in the national interest. If we keep acting like it’s a popularity contest, we will keep getting Prime Ministers who know how to get elected, but don’t know how to govern.

Jeremy Clarkson "If Nadiya Hussain thinks she's suffered from BBC discrimination, she should try being a White Man”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
Jeremy Clarkson did not say this. Telegraph journalist Allison Pearson wrote an article on the 18th March 2026 with this exact quote. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/03/1…

Just a reminder to @AngelaRayner that IF and WHEN Keir Starmer resigns, YOU MUST hold a general election, as you PREVIOUSLY called for when Boris Johnson stood down. If you don’t, you are a hypocrite and no one can ever trust a word you say.

I suggest you stop aping Trump with your fake news Charlie. It would be advisable to be a bit more patriotic and support your country instead of attacking our capital city. Voted best city in the world, safer than so many other capitals and with a reducing serious crime rate.
