Good luck to all the players and managers for the 26/27 season. For the 1st time since I was 7 years old I’m not involved with any team this season which is strange. It will be nice to watch from ‘the outside’. I’m sure this season will be as interesting as ever @NCEL @nwcfl

The end of an era, but what an era it was. Incredible that all the players returned last night to be together for their christmas do. A fantastic evening with the best people I have ever met in football. Wishing them all every success & a fantastic Christmas and NY. @NCEL @nwcfl

After almost a decade my time at @ilkleytown must come to an end. Although heartbreaking, it’s the right decision. Immensely proud of the achievements of the staff, players and supporters who have contributed over the years & I thank them from the bottom of my heart @NCEL @nwcfl

A pleasing win today against a determined @SelbyTown_FC side. The scoreline should have been more, especially after the chances we created just after HT. The game was scrappy for the last 30 mins, but an outstanding strike late on sealed the win for us @NCEL @ilkleytown

A worldie strike from the half way line the difference between our two sides today. Full credit to @DearneDistrict, strong, determined and they will be there at the end of the season. We will move on quickly from today, our players are giving everything @NCEL @ilkleytown

A very good performance last night against a determined @GooleAFC. A dominant 1st half should have seen us further in front at HT as we hit the post, bar & had a goal ruled out for marginal OFFS. The 2nd half was scrappy but we dug in & saw out the win. Lots to build on @NCEL

A great cup game to watch tonight from both sides. End to end & chances for both teams who left it all out on the pitch with only penalties to separate us. Thank you to the @THERAILFC for their hospitality and we wish them the very best until we see each other again at Xmas @NCEL

A good point today in difficult conditions against @clubthornecoll with 11 players missing due to injury, suspension and unavailability. Disappointed not to go in at HT further in front after hitting the bar and missing other chances. A draw probably a fair result today @NCEL

Well done to @officialbrigg on their win. We are in the depths of a tough spell but we are not shirking it, are facing up to it & confronting the challenge head on. I’m proud of my players for sticking together. We’ll do everything we can to turn it around. @NCEL @ilkleytown

Another tough day. We are playing well, creating chances & the tide will turn. We’ve been here before & we have the experience. We dominated the second half & created enough to win the game. Credit goes to the @thewelfare GK who pulled off some superb saves at crucial times @NCEL

These games come down to fine margins & they are not going our way at the moment. It’s down to us to keep grinding & our fortunes will change I have no doubt. Wishing the young @LouthTownFC player a quick recovery after his injury & I hope it’s not as bad as first thought. @NCEL

I’d like to thank Toby for all his efforts over the past 15 months. Everyone connected to the club wishes him the best of luck in his move and I’m sure he will be a success. @ThackleyAFC @NCEL

A game that was even for large periods, at 1-1 it was all to play for but we switched off from a long throw and a corner and the game ends 3-1. It’s been a long week in terms of results, but we are one performance away from changing our fortunes. @NCEL @DearneDistrict @ilkleytown

Well done to @THERAILFC on the win tonight, a determined and dogged performance from the in form side in the league. We are now on the road for our next two games as we look to bounce back in the @NCEL

A day for us to take our medicine. Congratulations to @NewcastleBenfi1 on their victory today in the @thefavase. We can have no complaints, they were clinical in front of goal and deserved the win. We need a major reaction on Tuesday night as we return to the @ncel

Never a dull fixture when we play @R1_Rovers. A basketball type of fixture, end to end with chances for both sides. Our resilience and character was superb and to come back from 2-0 down to win shows the belief and quality we have as a group. @NCEL @ilkleytown

With 9 players missing due to injury / illness / unavailability the players had to dig deep on a difficult pitch with a swirling wind. A superb effort from the players against a young and dogged @Glassywelfare side, we never gave up and converted when it mattered. @NCEL geeet in

A hard fought 3 points against a @DoncasterCityFC full of energy & intent & a game full of incident. We were comfortable at 2-0 but after going down to 10 men we defended for our lives for the final 20 mins to get the W. Once again, the game was marred with poor officiating @NCEL
