If you don’t believe OCs are just as important as the QB, all you have to do is look at Kubiak’s move from Seattle to Vegas and Darnold’s drop this year vs. how well Cousins is playing.
Kubiak is, in fact, that dude.
2-0 start, s/o to @LRiddickESPN he was big on Zeke Masses sense the Raiders drafted him. #Raidernation

Maxx Crosby reportedly told the Raiders that he’s here to stay
“He was back in the building (Wednesday) working out, rehabbing. He spoke with Klint Kubiak, he spoke with John Spytek, he spoke with Mark Davis. He told everybody, ‘I’m all in. I’m a Raider. I’m going to be here and I’m going to keep doing everything I’ve been doing to be the best player for this organization.’”

The Raiders just put on a masterclass in crisis management. Immediately admitted their mistake with Pete Caroll despite the optics of another 1 & done. Interviewed a bunch of ascending offensive minds for Mendoza and got their guy with Brady’s recruiting skills
Say what you want about Mark Davis, but no one cares more about getting it right than him with his willingness to pay buyouts. Great process by the front office

The #Raiders have had a bunch of HC searches over the years, but this year is different — and how they’re approaching it is the key thing for people to understand:
