Meiselas: Trump is literally a parody in the most extreme sense of the creature boogeymen that MAGA created to go after Democrats. He’s quite literally all of it. He covers up the pedo ring. The cabal is in the Oval Office. He’s close to Epstein. He starts wars everywhere. He uses government to quite literally tread on people. Masked agents going through states and terrorizing people. He says that he’s not for you having permits or licenses to carry your guns. He’s against free speech in the most obvious and authoritarian sense. You literally go through everything, and he is the most extreme example of the thing that they claimed this is what he was going to do to stop those people. But it’s important to note that that’s literally the way authoritarianism works. You know, the quote about the devil’s greatest trick is making you believe he never existed. The authoritarian’s greatest trick is to convince you that the authoritarian is the person who is out there to stop the authoritarians, and that’s how they get into power. They have a sixth sense of people’s fears and desires, and they know how to prey on them because they are a predator class. And that’s exactly what Trump and this entire regime is.
