I’d rather not win a national championship than resort to playing zone. Classless move by princetons defensive unit, and setting a bad example for the nation

Jeremiyah Love just ran 4.37 and his dad shook his head in disappointment. This young man is a FORCE. Beyond Jeanty.

Notre Dame in the last 5 years:
-National Championship Game
-Four 10+ win seasons
-Everyone wants their Head Coach when a NFL or College HC Job opens up
Notre Dame is relevant.

To be clear, I think I speak for all ND fans when I say:
The issue was NEVER w Miami getting in. It was ALWAYS w Bama.
Watching this Rose Bowl (🤢)…
I hope folks can emphasize why we “took our ball and went home” re: the Pop Tart Bowl
Beyond impressed w/ IU. Envious even.

I’m so fed up with the SEC favoritism. Getting embarrassed left and right in Bowl games. They are no better than any other conference yet here we are with FIVE of them making the playoff. One Big 12 team and one ACC team in the CFP but we needed 5 SEC teams who’s collective SoS are inflated because 80% of the conference is gifted pre-season Top 25 rankings they don’t deserve and ride those all season.
Will anyone learn and adapt heading into next season? NOPE - cause ESPN is attached at the hip to the SEC.

SEC created such a fun system. 8 game conference. No 10 P5 requirement. If you lose early it doesn’t count but if you lose bowl games it doesn’t count either so the only games we are allowed to evaluate you on are games against the SEC which is a “guantlet” because trust me.

So, part of that “brutal, unimaginable gauntlet of 4 STRAIGHT RANKED WINS” that Alabama had is a pair of teams who finished with a combined record of 16-10.
Missouri: 8-5, did not beat a team with a winning record.
Tennessee: 8-5, did not beat a team with a winning record.

If Jalen Hurts
- lost a fumble that ended up losing 27 yards
- took a sack for a loss of 21 on 3rd & 8
- missed this 2-pt throw to end the game
he’d be buried endlessly for the next week, and then some.
Let’s make sure Josh Allen gets the same criticism.

Texas A&M went 7-1 in the SEC and was a tiebreaker away from making the SEC Championship Game and scored 3 total points at home against a "lowly" ACC team, so I think we need to retire the "SEC teams would go undefeated in every other conference" narrative forever

Each year, I try to catch up with DeVonta Smith about his Heisman Trophy vote.
Here's what he said about this year's vote...
"Jeremiyah Love. I think this year for the Heisman…it's not kind of up to the recent Heismans. …But I’m picking Love. It's not just a quarterback award. Those other guys, they're good quarterbacks, but I think the things that he's doing (deserve the award).”

Alabama had negative yards rushing in the SEC Championship Game
"Notre Dame should be in above Alabama." 👀
@danorlovsky7 believes it was mistake keeping Notre Dame out of the CFP 🏆
