Former Fed Chair Jerome Powell accepted the JFK Award and took a subtle swipe at Trump: “As John Adams said, ‘Ours is a government of law, and not of men.’”

Has anyone had their Uber account deactivated by @Uber_Support for unspecified “safety concerns” ? I’ve used the service mostly for business for a decade without issue, then one day was deactivated. 20 times back and forth with @Uber_Support with no information or resolution.

Instead of ending his illegal war in Iran, Trump spent the weekend attacking Pope Leo & posting pictures of himself as Christ. This unhinged man is unfit to be Commander in Chief. He is putting Americans & the world in danger. We must end this war now.

I sounded the alarm about Donald Trump’s sons backing drone company, Powerus. Now, Powerus wants to sell drones to countries under attack by Iran. Are Trump’s sons cashing in on the war their father started? Americans deserve answers.

And rising inflation and adding to the record National debt. While we’re fighting endless oil wars, China is racing toward ending their oil dependence. Idiotic!
This tax season, Americans are experiencing larger returns compared to prior years—and not because there are more filers, but because legislation passed by the Trump administration and the conservative majorities in Congress last summer is finally bearing fruit. @NicoleHuyer dailysignal.com/2026/04/13/t…

Deranged. Wake up Congress!
Trump is now attacking the Pope for speaking out against war while posting images of himself as a messianic figure. This is not only offensive. It is deranged, egomaniacal behavior. When will Republicans in Congress stop blindly following this dangerous and unhinged man?

Why hasn't congress declared war on Iran? Our founders were very clear on this: they did not want a president dragging America into foreign wars alone. The Constitution gives Congress power to declare war; the President commands only after war is begun. #Constitution

Agreed
The conduct we’ve seen from the Iranian regime to date only proves that if there is to be lasting peace and security in the Middle East, the regime in Tehran must go. But we must do more to help the Opposition in Iran.

Trump’s war against Iran has caused a new crisis for NATO. Splitting the alliance was a key Soviet objective during the Cold War. Failure to achieve that objective was one reason among many the Kremlin lost that conflict. The last thing we need now is to serve Chinese and Russian interests by doing their work for them. telegraph.co.uk/news/2026/04…

This is what oligarchy looks like. 50 billionaires have spent $433 million to buy the elections in November. 80% is going to candidates who supported a $1 trillion tax break for the top 1% & a $1 trillion cut to Medicaid & the Affordable Care Act. We must end Citizens United.

We borrow money to pay interest on money we already borrowed, and now that the bill exceeds the entire defense budget, it's absurd. My Penny Plan fixes this by cutting just one cent from every dollar spent and will balance the budget in 5 years. forbes.com/sites/dougmelvill…

Health care? "You're on your own." Housing? "Nothing we can do." Grocery prices? "You're out of luck." $200 billion for another war? "No problem!" Americans—Democrats, Republicans, independents—are SICK AND TIRED of endless wars. We need to invest here at home.

Hegseth: "If you kill Americans, if you threaten Americans anywhere on Earth, we will hunt you down without apology and without hesitation and we will kill you." Hegseth when Russia is helping Iran to target Americans: "We're not concerned about that."
Hegseth asked about Russia helping Iran to target Americans: "We're not concerned about that... The only ones that need to be worried right now are Iranians that think they're going to live." A grotesquely indiscriminate threat against the entire Iranian population.

Agreed, this is NOT America first!
We’re told there’s not enough money for health care, affordable housing or education. But somehow there are billions for an illegal & unconstitutional war with Iran. We need a government that works for all of us — not the military-industrial complex, not Israel, not super PACs.

Prior to being re-elected as President, Donald Trump said: “There must be a complete commitment to dismantling the entire globalist neocon establishment that is perpetually dragging us into endless wars, pretending to fight for freedom and democracy abroad…We should have never gone into the Middle East. Under my leadership, we will turn the page forever on those foolish, stupid days of never-ending wars….Stupid, senseless, endless wars…” Snake oil salesmanship.

Now that Obama’s poll numbers are in tailspin – watch for him to launch a strike in Libya or Iran. He is desperate.

Trump is a gifted politician & orator with some good ideas: e.g. secure the border, eat real food, promote domestic manufacturing. He doesn't have to lie to sell good ideas so, why is @grok consistently unable to verify the veracity of his remarks? The lies obscure good work.

About 95% of everything I ask Grok to fact-check on X is false or misleading. How can our elected leaders and institutions lead effectively based on persistent falsehoods? They can't. Sooner or later, the truth comes out and the apple, in fact, falls to earth.

On this fifth anniversary of January 6th, I wanted to pass along remarks I made about that fateful day at the John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Award ceremony last year. I first spoke about the men and women in uniform- the true heroes that day; how I will always believe that, by God’s grace, I did my duty to see to the peaceful transfer of power under the Constitution and I expressed my heartfelt gratitude to the countless Americans of every background who have reached out with a word of encouragement these past five years. January 6 was a tragic day but it became a triumph of freedom when, after Capitol Police quelled the violence, leaders in both chambers in both political parties reconvened the very same day and finished democracy’s work under the Constitution. The Constitution is the common ground on which we stand. In these divided times, I believe more than ever that on that common ground we will forge a boundless future together and America’s best days are yet to come. So Help Us God.
