Yes they are open source, with GPL3 license, which states that anyone who uses the code and distributes it has to provide the source code aswell

Mainly C2M and CODMVM from my perspective, but that's a general problem everywhere.
I can't really tell who, cause of some I don't even know their names.

No, I'm not against it and this post is not against the use of AI, just about how vibe coders violate rights and how they make bad decisions for the community.
I use AI myself, but I don't steal other people work and work along with it rather than just vibe coding it.

im totally not against being able to make something you need real quick. My point is about using other peoples work and making it their own instead of just contributing to make the original tool better and the improvements more accessible or just simply violating licensing.

It really makes no sense. Why would we need to be an asshole and why would we need 100 versions of the same tool, if we can just have one that is just perfect and brings people together.

Not if I just spend my time on me personally, unrelated to making software
All those vibe coders that violate copyrights and licenses really make me want to quit working on stuff for the community.
Especially those who just rip stuff instead of contributing and building something great together.
I rather spend my time on stuff that can’t be stolen.

That’s still a major copyright infringement
