Come on @danny__kruger help the Club get a strong commitment from the @wiltscouncil. A proper plan is needed to keep grassroot sporting activities in the heart of the county. Making club's members travel to Corsham, or further afield, isn't right or fair. @EH_West @EnglandHockey
Thanks @wiltsgazette & @kirs10robertson for highlighting the astro situation with @wiltscouncil. Months of silence and zero commitment to get this pitch back in use. We don't want grassroots hockey to suffer any more than it already has. @danny__kruger gazetteandherald.co.uk/news/…

So disappointing @wiltscouncil. The pitch at Devizes Leisure Centre has been out of action since lockdown eased last year & still no plan communicated on how it will be brought back into action. All those children and adult players missing regular hockey sessions at their club.
Return to club hockey for juniors and adults hampered by unusable pitch. Full club statement here: devizeshockey.co.uk/news/ret…

As per the government's statement, as an organised team sport, hockey can continue to be played 🏑
