A lot of people are missing the context that Charlie has, where Nintendo was literally the boogeyman to Smash tourney hosts. All across the 2010's
There ought to be a master post documenting their actions like attempting to shut down Melee at Evo.
Just one example of MANY of Nintendo's actions against their own fans in the 2010's.
My life went a completely different trajectory than it could have, because Nintendo scared sponsors away as we started to host regionals with 200-800 attendees.
This was my best M-B team that I peaked at top 1,400 with
it got INVALIDATED in M-C with all the psychic terrain shutting down fake out
however I do have a new version of this team that I've been doing REALLY well with already 👀 I'll share soon

The concerns were valid about him going to an event while potentially dealing with bed bugs, but can we as a community be nicer?
Why kick someone while they're down? The bullying that people do on the internet needs to stop, it doesn't help anyone.
