Standing with Miker Rogers is a betrayal of everything Haley Stevens has fought for her entire career. It's also a betrayal of all of her supporters that believed in her. I hope @AbdulElSayed has a strong victory on Tuesday and that all Democrats and like-minded independents support vote for him.

Susie Lee has been putting out insane last minute lies about me. Not to get more votes for herself but in an attempt to discourage Republicans from voting. That’s all the democrats have left. Lies. Finish the fight!

If you call yourself a moderate and you are pleased by Lisa Murkowski's endorsement of a Dem nominee for Governor but mad about Haley Stevens' endorsement of Mike Rogers, you're not really a moderate.

No one tried to throw Jared Golden down the Democratic Party's memory hole when he endorsed Mike Lawler. And attacks on Stevens regarding her "emotions" raise serious questions about the nature of the current smear campaign and its reliance on tropes about emotion and mental state.

Every story criticizing Haley Stevens is exactly the same. It’s almost like talkers went out
As Haley's friend, I can't be silent. Yesterday morning, afternoon, and evening, I spoke with @HaleyforMI several times. At 8:58 this morning, she told me she intended to remain silent. I don't know what changed in the two hours that followed. I want to believe she was being truthful with me. I've known her fiancé, Jason Turkish, for years. I respect him as a brilliant lawyer and advocate for disabled Americans. But I have become deeply troubled by his behavior. I've heard serious concerns about his treatment of Haley's staff, friends, and allies. My own experiences have only deepened those concerns. It is painful to watch someone you care about go through something like this. It is even more painful to worry about the influence of those closest to her. I don't know what happened this morning, and I won't pretend that I do. Haley is my friend. I am deeply concerned for her well-being. She deserves dignity, independence, and the freedom to make her own decisions. But at the end of the day, this is bigger than any one person or political controversy. We cannot lose sight of the people affected by these decisions and this conduct: her constituents, her staff, her friends, and the people who have placed their trust in her. They deserve respect, accountability, and answers, too.

Haley Stevens chief of staff put out a press release lol dude you aren’t the main character. This isn’t even a partisan message, but my advice to young Hill staff is to always have the humility to recognize no one elected you.
New: Statement from Haley Stevens’ chief of staff Justin German confirms many of her team have resigned & they back Abdul El-Sayed for #MISen “We are shocked and heartbroken by Congresswoman Stevens’ decision to support Mike Rogers.”

The Dems have lost the plot. It’s that simple.
Mike Rogers is 100% on board with Trump’s extreme MAGA agenda that is hurting working Americans. It’s disgraceful that Haley Stevens has chosen to support him.

El Sayed campaign staffer indicted for antisemitic violent hate crimes. Anything genuinely thinking of voting for this guy is insane. This is so far beyond partisan politics.
12 indicted in Michigan for a campaign of terror against Jews. Jars of chemicals thrown into family homes. Houses marked with the red triangles Hamas uses to mark targets for death. One defendant, Mariam Odeh, worked for @AbdulElSayed 's Senate campaign. Surprised? Don't be.

TLDR Susan is a terrible friend
I know @HaleyforMI way better than most people on X. She and I came into Congress together in 2018. She was co-Prez of our freshman class. She was incredibly kind to me when my late partner died; she organized a big group of our class to come to the House floor to support me when I spoke about his suicide. We were roommates in 2023, after my wonderful first roomie lost her election; both my adult kids know Haley well and are on a texting basis with her. We’ve socialized and we have good friends in common. While she and I differ on one impt issue, specifically Israel and AIPAC support, I’ve never publicly challenged her on those things, because I felt that her good points outweighed the issues I disagreed with her on. Today, that changes. 👇 Haley’s endorsement of Rogers in the MI senate race is appalling. Not because he’s a Republican, but because what he stands for is what she, and I, and our caucus has fought so hard against. Rogers is a 100% anti-choice politician. He is a Trump loyalist. He’s shown his Islamophobia in his many remarks against @AbdulElSayed, and with this endorsement, Haley has shown that she agrees with his positions. I’m shocked by Haley’s endorsement. I’m terribly sad and disappointed. I’m furious and will be more so if we lose the MI senate race. So many people in the Democratic Party have shown so much support to Haley over the years, and she has betrayed them all. If this is because of her new relationship (about which many of us were so happy for her after she lost the primary), all I can say is that any woman who abandons her friends when a new guy comes along is no friend at all. The fallout for Haley won’t just be in Dem politics; she will be a pariah among her friends in the Democratic caucus in Congress. Only she will be able to decide whether it was worth it.

When people show you who they are, believe them. These people are terrorist sympathizers that hate Jews.
If, God forbid, Abdul loses, this will be a watershed moment in Democratic politics. The fire will rise. It's over. People will be radicalized against corporate, pro-Israel Dems. There will be a reckoning. If, when, he wins, it will be a watershed moment. And that reckoning will still come.

Many in the Acela corridor’s consultant class struggle to comprehend this, but not everyone is a ruthless careerist. Some people actually do possess a conscience. Some people look at the Democratic Party rally behind one of the most extreme Senate candidates in modern American history—a man who has refused to condemn the most vicious anti-American terrorists in the world and sought to contextualize and minimize barbaric acts of violence targeting children at a synagogue preschool in his home state—and simply say, “sorry, but I’m out.”
.@AbdulElSayed will still win and her political career- something she’s cultivated for decades- will be over

If I’m an employer I’m never hiring someone that publicly resigns and blast their boss on the way out. You were not elected, you were hired. No one cares what you think.
