Finishing off week 1 of #GLGTour2024 So far I'm pleasantly surprised with this year's crop. Better than expected after the spring planting season we had. Once again need an open September but the potential is there. Had to grab a @shawsicecream and rush to a field for a pic.
Day 4 of the #GLGTour2024 Some tip back in Norfolk County but still a good yielding field. We also celebrated the upcoming retirement of Brian Rutherford. Brian we wish you all the best in your retirement years. You've been great colleague and friend!
Mitchell team getting some counts done in Huron county. Corn yields look promising. Thanks Shawna for the great summer as our GLG intern and helping organize our 15th #GLGTour2024
Day 3 of #GLGTour2024 Checking a field of IP beans in Perth county. Shawna our GLG summer intern worked with @melyseren to organize this year tour. Thanks ladies for all of your hard work! @sarah_sbutson worked with the farmer on this field utilizing the myFS Agronomy App.
Yesterday the birds took the "top" end out of this corn field in Dufferin County. Only field to show dent that we were in. #GLGTour2024
For the planting challenges in Dufferin County. The Beans sure have made up the stagger. #GLGTour2024
Replying to @PetraHathaway
@PetraHathaway liking what she's seeing near Grand Valley. #GLGTour2024
Day 2 of the #GLGTour2024 in Dufferin county. Spring rains delayed planting in this area but this field was planted in good time. Still needs a favourable September for this field to finish.
This is multitasking. The legend @JJIrvine1 never stops. #GLGTour2023 and taking phone calls. #ThisIsGrainOrigination
