If the devils just played the way they did tonight every game.. we’d be in for a real successful season
The up and down start continues, but tonight tons of up! Lots of positives to feel good about
Great 2 periods. Devils have rolled all night
Shots are 32-13 in favor of NJ, they are pretty much dominating Colorado tonight
Unfortunately it’s only a one goal lead to show for it.. Which seems to be nothing new lately
HUGE third period needed. Colorado is on game 2 of a B2B, no excuses
Been really digging lombardis game kinda sucks he’s the one sitting
At quite honestly Noesen has been good too lately.
Based on jersey colors today, I think Connor Brown is going to make his season debut for #NJDevils tonight.
Noesen and Lombardi are in blue jerseys, designated as extras.
Just got home from work so I haven’t been able to watch
Need someone to catch me up, what’s been going on. Defense fault? Goalie? Both?
Amadeus Lombardi can play 👀
Basically a one man transition and finds Noesen for a goal.. Sunny may have cooked
Grits has worked really well with Jack and Bratt, that line has been noticeably good every period
And Mantha has found a fit grinding on L3 with Erod and Noesen
Some things are starting to click!
Overall an ugly win, but early on in the season as the team figures things out you take the points and run
The offense was there and the Devils looked way better attacking. Unfortunately one thing improves so another had to decline.. the defense and goaltending was real shaky tonight
You’ll take 2 points but we need to start to see more complete efforts as we move along the season
This is pretty damn entertaining but a little bit sad
4 goals through 2 against a bad Detroit team, and it’s still a one goal game. Defense / goalies have been so leaky this season.. concerning
Great first period but no lead to show for it, about sums things up right now
Detroit was asleep for at least 15 of the first 20 minutes
Meier, Mantha, Erod, Mercer, Grits not producing at all yet
Hughes Bratt Hischier have mostly produced on the powerplay. Offense is not coming right now at 5v5
