Thank you so much for your kind words @ajaykhajuria3
Jammu has been too kind & I am immensely grateful for the love from all sections of the city.
It has been my privilege to contribute in my capacity as Jammu Municipal Commissioner & CEO Smart city.
Hope these initiatives will fulfil our vision of - CLEAN JAMMU, GREEN #JAMMU!!
Dynamic Leadership of Dr. Devansh Yadav, IAS
Learning of the transfer of Dr. Devansh Yadav, IAS, from Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) to Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri, immediately brought to mind the sheer dynamism and impact that define his administrative journey. Across every assignment, he has consistently demonstrated the ability to create tangible, lasting change.
My first interaction with him took place at Hotel Radisson during a discussion on IT infrastructure. Shortly thereafter, he took charge as Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar, establishing an association that endured. His selfless initiatives in Kishtwar, ranging from improving remote connectivity to Machail Mata to actively promoting Kishtwari saffron stood out as hallmarks of visionary governance that went well beyond routine administration.
When he assumed charge as Commissioner, JMC, expectations were naturally high, and his tenure proved truly phenomenal. Several critical urban initiatives gained decisive momentum and were successfully steered to completion. Key milestones and transformative interventions under his watch include:
Tawi Riverfront Development & Tawi Aarti: Accelerating civil execution and revitalizing the cultural and civic waterfront of Jammu.
Waste to Wonder Park: Delivering an innovative, eco-conscious public space built on sustainability principles.
Green Public Transit: Operationalizing electric and solar-powered buses across the city, significantly modernizing Jammu’s urban transit while easing congestion from unstructured local transport.
Dr. Devansh Yadav possesses an administrative Midas touch, infusing purpose, innovation, and execution speed wherever he is posted. The district of Rajouri is indeed fortunate to receive an officer of his caliber and commitment.
Wishing Dr. Devansh Yadav another exceptional, highly impactful stint as Deputy Commissioner, Rajouri.

Back in 2003, a German film crew filming in the Gobi Desert captured an incredibly moving moment: after a tough two-day birth, a mother camel rejected her newborn. A nomadic family then performed the ancient Hoos singing ritual passed down for generations. Once the song ended, the camel shed tears and finally accepted her baby. This powerful scene became one of the most memorable parts of the Oscar-nominated documentary The Story of the Weeping Camel.

Our inspiration uncle Musa ! Proud that during district trg in Roing I trained under 2 great social workers, Satyanarayan ji & Vijay swami ji in addition to DC Vaidya sir. They took me to remotest of Mishmi hills which built my everlasting respect & love for tribal communities !!
Can a single suitcase full of books could change an entire generation?
More than four decades ago, a man from Kerala left behind a secure government job and travelled to the remote hills of Arunachal Pradesh.
He wasn't looking for fame or recognition. He simply believed that every child deserved access to books.
Known lovingly as "Uncle Moosa", Satyanarayan Mundayoor spent over 40 years nurturing a culture of reading among tribal communities in Arunachal Pradesh.
Through the Lohit Youth Library Movement, he helped create libraries, inspire young minds, and open doors to opportunities that many children had never imagined.
Where roads were difficult and resources were scarce, he built something powerful: a love for learning.
His efforts eventually earned him the Padma Shri in 2020, but his greatest achievement lives on in the thousands of young readers whose lives were transformed by the simple magic of a book.

Bangalore produces around 7,000 tonnes of waste a day, roughly 3,000 tonnes of that is wet waste. All of it has to be collected, segregated, and processed every single day. A lot of it still ends up badly treated or in a landfill.
We got to know the @HasiruDalaInnov team a few years ago. They've spent years doing the thankless part of this, collecting and segregating waste at scale. But wet waste has remained a problem. Dry waste has buyers. Wet waste goes bad too quickly to store, and composting it usually loses money.
@carbonmastersuk takes that wet waste and turns it into biogas you can cook with. More importantly, they've made a business out of it.
Put the two together, and it's fairly obvious. Hasiru Dala has the waste and knows how to sort it. Carbon Masters knows how to generate economic value out of it by generating biogas and organic manure.
This problem goes beyond Bengaluru's garbage. India imports about 60% of our LPG and half our natural gas. Turning our own waste into fuel is about as self-reliant as it gets.
We need more people working on hard problems like this. That’s also why we’ve backed both Hasiru Dala Innovations and Carbon Masters through @Rainmatterin.
We spent some time at their Harohalli plant to understand how it all fits together for our latest Rainmatter Original. If you've ever wondered where the waste from our homes actually goes, this is worth a watch (full episode link in comments).🙂

We’re sharing a solution to the Navier-Stokes Millennium Prize Problem, one of the deepest problems at the frontier of mathematics.
The proof was produced by a group of agents, using an OpenAI next-generation model significantly more capable than GPT-6 Astra.
The problem concerns whether the description of smooth three-dimensional fluid motion modeled by the Navier-Stokes equations can break down. It has remained unresolved for roughly 90 years.
