Velvet Lodge is in this sense a breath of fresh air β€” there have always been tables of majority-femme or solely-femme players since the very earliest origins of the form, but generally there’s been constraints to how they can present (not as onerous as other media but still).

So, random thing about Velvet Lodge: There’s a lot of internal pressure on women to be young and pretty when on camera. When I was doing my makeup each day to show the gradual degradation of Nicolette, I really enjoyed not trying to be pretty. Just being β€œreal” was so fun.

#VelvetLodge Thank you to the game designers, cast and crew for making this. You have given me a new perspective on my own illness. That is a gift I was not expecting and will always be grateful for. Love and respect to all. 4

I'm six episodes deep and have next to no idea what is going on in the #velvetlodge and it's amazing. The cast, storytelling, production value, etc. are all first rate. More people need to see shows like this so that they continue to be made.

Bare bones 5e Character idea: Beast master Ranger Cavalier Fighter Chain Warlock Whatever class/subclass I need to get a donkey companion so I can name him HotΓ© (said Ho-tay)

The Joe could only go as far as the donkey. Although I do love the idea that the donkey is the statted character and The beastmaster companion is the farmer that is just trying to get his donkey to come back home

For real watch this episode. We got a cool cinematic. Cool prosthetics. And one of the best improv scenes ever! To the point you'll ask... is the scripted? Surprise it's not.

πŸ”΄ The #VelvetLodge 🦌 Episode 5 happens TONIGHT on Twitch at 7pm ET / 4pm PT Some skeptics may be coming to terms with the supernatural after the group encounters the Truffler. The last remaining room marked on their map awaits. Will this mean the final puzzle piece? πŸ—
