Michael Penix clocked 4.4 - 4.5 40 at his pro day & never uses that athletic ability to help him become a better quarterback. His speed needs to be discussed these times show he just refuses to use his legs. I didn’t even know his 40 was that fast. That should make us more mad.

Difference is Matt’s first 16 games, he was 23 and a rookie. Penix is in his 3rd year and he’s 26. Matt Ryan was a Pro Bowl QB at 25. There’s levels to this

This 4th quarter play was a microcosm of what Michael Penix & the offensive staff failed at today. Consistently the Bears brought 7-8 man pressures & Penix didn’t get the ball out of his hand. The Falcons didn’t lose because they didn’t run the ball. It was plays like this.

Jalen Hurts should file a grievance against The Eagles and their doctors for malpractice !!!! Told him not to sleep for 36 hours , had him play in a game , and put him on a plane immediately after. If he did, they’d be called the Philadelphia Hurts after his lawyers got through with em. Absolutely disgusting work and the only reason we’re finding out is because it happened to the franchise QB. NFL teams do this kinda stuff to PSquad guys and players that are on the fringe and get away with quite often!

The RT made his block, the bears called that play to get a free runner, notice there are three rushers and the guards man drops back into coverage so he takes the other, that caused the tackle to stumble, penix has to recognize and make him miss or throw the ball quicker.

His problem right now is he’s a Rhythm QB and cannot play off script. People have been at me for partly blaming Penix but if you know pressure is coming you gotta get the ball out. Especially this play right here , someone tried to say no QB is good under pressure 😭😭😭
