Many founders think the biggest risk in software is moving too slowly. I think the bigger risk is moving fast with the wrong team. Because if the team is wrong, speed does not help you. It just helps you build the wrong thing faster. Spend money faster. Get attached to bad decisions faster. The best development teams do not just increase velocity. They reduce confusion first. They make tradeoffs clearer. They help you understand what matters now and what can wait. That is usually the difference between a build that gains momentum and a build that quietly becomes expensive. If you are hiring a team, I would pay close attention to one question: After speaking with them, does the project feel clearer or heavier? That answer tells you a lot.

cool stuff, we built such a system for a tree nursery a couple of years back - amazing results, and very cheap hardware. Instead of a drone, it was a GoPro mounted on a tractor that regularly went through the fields. AI future within 1-2 years - based on what we use/build - from the usage perspective

right on time, add to that the human error - hence a tech lead/senior dev who does a slopy job reviewing the AI-generated code before pushign it and year or two worth of work and you get a perfect storm when even the senior-level devs won't know what the heck is in the code base. At devteam.space, we do use AI to write some of the code on simple projects, and test the new models regularly. But regardless of that, a proper human-driven code review is a must.
