This week we have enjoyed breaking numbers into their parts in Maths and learning about using a mouse in Computing @DevonshireInf

We have really enjoyed learning about line in Art, looking at different styles of line and using pastels @DevonshireInf #curiosity

Last week we looked at the alphabet in English and started learning about our body in Science. Today in maths we looked at number words to further embed our number knowledge @DevonshireInf

Today in science we looked for signs of autumn and talked about our class tree @DevonshireInf

This afternoon we are learning that it’s okay to not know things yet and to keep trying until we can. We have played tiddlywinks, drawn shapes with the wrong hand, picked things up with tweezers, completed jigsaws and used our imagination to finish pictures @DevonshireInf

We’ve really enjoyed making our class rules together today and discovering how hard our brains work. Our pictures of ourselves are now up in the classroom too @DevonshireInf

This afternoon, we looked at our school values and enjoyed using unity and integrity @DevonshireInf

We also had our learning outcome this week which was wonderful Thank you to @RSPCABirmingham for the extra treat of making bird feeders. @DevonshireInf

It’s Olympic week and we have really enjoyed making flags, medals and torches, plus designing uniforms :-) @DevonshireInf

In maths today, we used dice to generate number sentences and then solved them using jottings, or our number knowledge ❤️ @DevonshireInf
