Man it’s to late to start trying to fix stuff now you done lost all your competitive players that put 3 years of our lives into the game I’m js 🤣
🔈 Gladiators, we feel you and are aware of the current audio issues in #TarkovArena. Our team is already working on a series of improvements and changes that will roll out gradually over the next several patches.
Planned changes for the first iteration:
● Patch 0.5.1.5
- Sound prioritization system based on distance.
This system will help prevent situations where footsteps or gunshots become inaudible during intense firefights.
● Patch 0.5.2.0
- Reworked distant movement audio;
- New footstep sound propagation system depending on distance;
- Improvements to the audio occlusion system (sound dampening through obstacles).
We’ll continue sharing our plans for further audio improvements and provide updates on the next stages of development.
Audio improvements are only part of the changes coming in future updates. Thank you for your feedback and for helping us make Arena better! 🫡
