More like a subscription for prevention. Definitely something they’d sell over a cure. This can be sold to everyone whereas a cure is only for the not so many unlucky ones. I’d see this making more money than the current system.
“If they had a cure for cancer they wouldn’t sell it” Yes they would, because it would make them rich

AGI or the goal beyond it “Super Intelligence”, through LLMs, is really the idea of simulating it. It wouldn’t actually be intelligence. It doesn’t have to be since it would be indistinguishable and very much all powerful. Should still be afraid of it, just not that it’ll be alive.

For those starting projects, one major idea from this was to clear out your desk/table for starting a new project. Signifying the beginning of the middle (the work). It makes me hate having too many unfinished projects that distract and show non commitment to what I find most important.

If anyone is starting out with frontend dev and trying to pick a framework, I suggest React. Lots of cleaner and better ones out there, but if you don't learn react now you'll definitely hate the process later if you need to pick it up for whatever reason.

Introducing the Model Context Protocol (MCP) An open standard we've been working on at Anthropic that solves a core challenge with LLM apps - connecting them to your data. No more building custom integrations for every data source. MCP provides one protocol to connect them all:

I’ve used similar tools for years. Other sites sometimes get blocked. Maybe a desktop electron app that keeps history is the better way to go.
✨ I made a new thing today: 📑 JSON.pub Whenever I need to quickly copy paste a raw JSON data dump from my app and view it I'd always use json . parser . online . fr but it seems unmaintained, keeps going down, doesn't have HTTPS, and other JSON viewers are full of spyware/malware/tracking scripts So I made this today with a lot of help from ChatGPT to solve it for me and everyone else: JSON.pub visualizes raw JSON data for you, and does it 100% on the client without sending any data to the server But it also secretly supports a lot of other data formats like XML, PHP serialized data, hexadecimal, base64 encoded data, and even binary! And it also works well on mobile! Another one of my little hack projects :D If you want me to add other data types, let me know and I'll add them

AWS just released a new Multi-Agent AI framework It lets you manage multiple AI agents, dynamically route LLM queries, maintain context across AI Agents and can be deployed locally on your computer. 100% opensource.

“To free up mental processing power, it's critical to practice low-level skills enough that they can be carried out without requiring conscious effort. This is known as automaticity.” Been on my mind a lot lately. Glad to finally have a word for it.

good code is readable code. not clever code. not complex code. readable code. can someone click on it and read it? that's all that matters

IMO, this is where Cursor/VSCode's true power lies. I'm not sure if you can replicate this AI UX with an Xcode extension.

so... they replaced Postgres with combination of Scylla and SQLite. Because Postgres couldn't scale with the site's growth. There is one SQLite db per user, which keeps all the data and is source of truth. Scylla acts like a View layer on top of it, providing different views!
I learned that Bue Sky uses one SQLite database per user, as God intended. Where can I read more about its high level architecture?
