The delay in the ZeroWallet release, explained.
Two key improvements were made yesterday, and today has been spent implementing and refining them.
1. A simpler user journey
The initial version in testing required seven steps before users could start trading.
The new flow cuts that down to three:
Deposit funds → Go Private → Trade or Swap.
Fewer steps. Less friction. A better experience.
2. Block-speed trading
ZeroWallet is a cross-chain privacy wallet, and trading with private funds is currently slow. This product category is also very new, so trying out new methods can lead to dead ends. We have solved it now. The V1 will feature block speed trading.
The goal is simple: privacy shouldn't come at the cost of speed or usability. The experience should feel seamless, with no noticeable difference between trading privately and trading without privacy.
V1 is being built to enable cross-chain trading at the native block speed of each chain.
First impressions matter, and missing a release deadline isn't a good look. The delay is acknowledged, and an apology is owed to everyone who has been waiting.

I was part of one of the earliest private groups created by @a1lon9 and @sapijiju: "Pump Enjoyers". Tagging them cuz they'll know.
From day one, the Pump.fun team stayed incredibly close to its users, listening to every idea, insight, and piece of feedback.
I had the privilege of watching a company go from nothing to the most successful and profitable on-chain businesses in the world, ever.
Back when there were maybe 50 coins bonded on Pump.fun, I sent this message in the group, tagging Alon:
"I really think you have a unicorn here. This could become the biggest launchpad on Solana. Just remember: whatever you do, do it to become a monopoly." (i was quoting Peter Thiel..poorly lol)
People treat the word monopoly like it's something to fear. I see it differently. Build something so good that nobody else can compete. ~ isn't that why we build anyways?
But in 2026 building has changed. There will never be another Pumpfun, no matter how much you try.
So what does the future of building technology look like?
The next generation of monopolies will be built by giving users total control and power ~ ZeroFee
You can replicate technology. But you can't beat a platform that gives full control and autonomy to the user.
