Go to VI and see proper 9-5 bankers sleeping in uncompleted/abandoned houses for 10k per week as opposed to going to the house they rented and is comfortable just so their contract salary doesn’t finish on only transport fare.
In Abuja and Lagos, many people are sleeping in offices and mosques near their workplaces because of high transportation costs! I am not telling you a story, I am telling you what is actually happening!

Only First Class and Second Class Upper graduates should qualify to become teachers. Teachers’ starting salaries should be a minimum of ₦500,000 per month. Teachers should be required to take professional qualification examinations every two years. There should be an Education Bank where teachers can access very low-interest loans for car financing, home financing and other essential needs. Teaching should be one of the most prestigious and highly respected professions in the country.

Watch this video 2 or 3 times, then go away and think carefully about what @Big_Mck is saying here. The world is racing toward the shooting phase of the third world war (the non-kinetic phase already began since September 2001). How are you preparing yourself as an African?
Dear Africans, Are You Protecting Your Interests? It's 2026 and the world has seen an indicted war criminal with an outstanding ICC arrest warrant address the UN General Assembly, months after a country's military invaded another country, kidnapped its sitting president and his wife, and locked them up like criminals in a prison in New York where they face trumped up charges. The state of geopolitics and international relations in the 21st century has never left less room for doubt about the fact that interests and power - not rules - are the true animating force behind how the world works. In this commentary, @big_mck asks Africans the obvious question - who is protecting African interests?

🚨🇫🇷France is burning - Protesters are looting, smashing everything in sight, and setting fires across the country. Lyon's tourist office torched. Marseille's city hall ransacked. Dozens of cars burning in Paris. France is falling apart before our eyes.

Watch a video made by a Y0ruba woman who lives in the USA. She is highly intelligent. She was asking Y0ruba pe0ple whether Igb0s are the reasons for Y0ruba failures and poverty. The video is nearly 9 minutes and every Y0ruba is supposed to watch this video and receive sense.

“I think there is a 50–60% chance that Toluwanisings would still be alive today if he were in a country with good governance. With this Automated External Defibrillator (AED) I’m holding here, I have brought several people back to life. Each device costs over $2,000. Can our government use the money spent on campaign buses to purchase these devices and distribute them across the country? If you people like, continue selling your votes next year.” — Canada-based Nigerian doctor, Zo

Exactly what I was discussing with my friend today. POA said everything I have in my mind when I watched that “Men Dey” video. PB missed a chance to correct this “Microwave” generation cause keeping silent will not solve anything. Nobody has life figured out. Men are humans also, they face the same challenges you’re facing as well. Focus on finding the right partner. Leave “material possessions”. It’s sweet to grow with your partner. Pray you don’t “grow” with the wrong person. I love POA soo much. She reminds me every time that I win in all areas of life. Family, Business, Parenting and Ministry

This post actually made me go and read the T&Cs of MTN FlyX, which I recently got. Apparently, we FlyX users are in a somewhat similar situation. 😂 Clause 3.1: “The ODU remains the property of MTN Nigeria at all times.” Clause 3.2: You're only granted the right to use it to access MTN Broadband services. And under Clauses 5.1 & 5.2, the equipment is tied to your registered installation address and cannot be moved elsewhere without prior authorization from MTN. So if I change apartments tomorrow, I can't just pack my FlyX alongside my TV and fridge and move on. 😂 I need MTN's authorization to move the ODU. The interesting part is that the MTN FlyX offer is advertised as ₦30,000 with unlimited data up to 100Mbps, free installation and a “FREE-to-use” router. Turns out “free-to-use” is the operative phrase. The device isn't yours. You're being given the right to use it. Definitely something prospective FlyX customers should understand.
So finally an Airtel agent has come to take back their idu and odu device that they never disclosed to me that it would be taken back if I don’t subscribe for a period of 3 months consecutively Good riddance

Hehe. Dem no dey tell person. Like I always say, whatever your complaint is about other people’s business in Nigeria, before concluding that Nigerians are wicked, make sure to operate the same business first. Bolt does not have AC, buy your own car and run it first. Rent is expensive, build your own house and rent out first. Flight tickets are expensive, open your own airline first. Flights are always cancelled or delayed, operate your own airline first. Because at end of the day, Nigerians are fond of misdiagnosing their problems. They promote systems that deliver the very opposite of the affordable quality public services they desire.
Last year, one Sunday morning, I drove for Bolt to see how it works. I had registered months earlier when fuel was around ₦800. I worked from 8 AM to 9 PM and made about ₦75,000 (roughly $50). I spent ₦50,000 on fuel, ₦11,000 on Bolt’s commission, and ₦4,000 on lunch at Chicken Republic. After some offline trips, I went home with less than ₦10,000 profit—almost nothing. That day made me question many things in this country more deeply. I respect Bolt drivers and wonder how they survive. What if their car breaks down? Where will they find repair money? Since then, when people criticise drivers for requesting offline trips or negotiating higher fares, I stay out of it. Most will never understand the reality. Why has Bolt refused to increase prices for them? When people discussed Uber leaving Nigeria, I didn’t join. Drivers had stopped using Uber long ago because its commission was higher than Bolt’s and Indrive’s.
