You don't have to be Catholic to object to the state snatching away a child that has been brainwashed to yearn to be chemically castrated and dismembered in pursuit of a delusion that can never be true because the parents seek to protect her from irreversible medicalized harms by a cult operating within the medical and educational systems. But Catholics are one of the many groups that Blue states see as subjects of a neocolonial re-education project, whose children are all being brainwashed from the earliest age to believe that if they don't conform to regressive gender norms it's because they were born in the wrong body and require fixing through macabre cult rituals that will leave them sexually dysfunctional and sterilized for life. Massachusetts puts male rapists and murderers into women's prisons in order to affirm their "gender identity," actively deceives parents about the mental health of their children who are pretending to be the opposite sex at schools, and aims to break apart families that won't consent to inflict premature menopause on their teenage daughters. All of this is as brazen a violation of the Constitutional rights of parents as has ever happened in the history of this country and it is supported and enacted by Democrat state officials at every level of government because they swallowed whole the false belief that inflicting endocrine disorders on healthy children is medically necessary and lifesaving.

There is no intellectually respectable, grown-up version of gender ideology that survives the basic tests of fact and logic better than the propaganda books they give to first graders.
