"The Modern Right™️" consists of a range from 90s Democrats to varying types of more traditional conservatives. Of course we're going to have issues and strongly disagree on a number of things. All we can near universally agree on is that "The Modern Left™️ has gone too far".

*Maturity taught me that* not every woman is a Proverbs 31 woman. And honestly, that’s okay. *Some women are Deborahs* — called to lead, speak boldly and stand on the front lines. *Some are Ruths* — loyal, humble and faithful even when nobody is watching. *Some are Esthers* — positioned for influence, with courage rising when the moment calls for it. *Some are Marys* — chosen to surrender and carry a purpose they didn’t fully understand. *Some are Hannahs* — shaped by prayer, waiting, tears and a faith that refuses to die. *Some are Abigails* — wise, discerning and brave enough to step in before things fall apart. *Some are Miriams* — worshippers, leaders and women who know how to praise God after surviving battles. *Some are Rahabs* — women with complicated pasts who prove that your beginning does not have to determine your ending. *Some are Naomis* — women who have lost so much, yet somehow find the strength to begin again. *Some are Lydia’s* — business-minded, resourceful women who use what they have to make room for others. *Some are Priscillas* — women who teach, guide and build alongside others. *Some are Mary Magdalene’s* — women whose lives were transformed by God and who carried their testimony boldly. *And then there are Jezebels* — a reminder that influence without humility, power without accountability and manipulation can destroy everything around you. *The Bible didn’t give us only one type of woman.* *It gave us leaders.* Warriors. Mothers. Worshippers. Entrepreneurs. Intercessors. Survivors. Women who waited. Women who fought. Women who failed. Women who were restored. And women whose lives became warnings. *So stop expecting every woman to look* the same, love the same, lead the same or walk the same path. *You don’t have to be another woman*. You just have to become the woman God created YOU to be. ❤️‍🔥🙏🏾

It's perfectly valid to feel violated after being lied to on such a scale. Boundaries were crossed through deception, Ember had been asked in call about the voice changer, and if they were a dude, so it was an active deception. Forgiveness can take time. No Christian is perfect, and any who claim to be are either in serious error or are possibly a grifter trying to sell you something. You as an antitheist are not an arbiter of such things. You want to talk about context, a lot can be inferred from the writings of the book, the reddit posts, and the deception. It doesn't paint a pretty picture, and when trust is thrown out the window, paired with parts of the book reading like fetish material with apparently Ember still touting it as a point of pride, as well as the reddit stuff, it's quite reasonable to extrapolate intentions being worse than presented. Infiltrators do exist. Many 90s style democrats are now considered "The Right" when they haven't particularly shifted much more conservative than they were 15 years ago. Congrats, you're an infiltrator to "The Right" by your logic. Perhaps we need a bit more gatekeeping all around. Things change, clearly not how all of us like at times. This goes for anything with a social orientation to varying degrees, even if certain things are immutable. Maria has made a substantial amount of progress in her growth towards being a follower of Christ and being conservative from where she came from, and is apparent to those who actually know her. For better or worse, she's a fairly open book. Even if she has some habits and behaviors that she's been working on that pop up from time to time and that can occasionally give me a headache, she's certainly grown and changed, but knowing that is something that takes time, closeness, and understanding. In spite of Maria's own mistrust, hurt for the situation, and needing to heal before she can fully forgive, she does acknowledge that Ember has some good talking points. She's upset and weary of Ember's intentions due to deception, but doesn't think Ember should be "cancelled" off the internet. Just that people should be informed and cautious of trusting him and his intentions, due to what can be extrapolated as a very serious issue with Ember's intent and trustworthiness. She does recognize that perhaps her extrapolations of intent could be off base, but due to the initial deception (because again, Ember had been asked) makes it difficult to take his word for it, with the rest of the stuff painting a worrying picture, and that was worth bringing up for individuals to decide. Even if her handling was sub-optimal due to being a bit emotional over everything. Ember's interactions with Yukiwaru show how much further things had gone with some people who wouldn't have interacted with Ember in such ways, had they known otherwise. That's an overarching issue that parallels to "trans in women's spaces", even if it's not 100% the exact same thing. There are sex-based boundaries people have, even if those are a sliding scale, based on one's beliefs. Your ignoring potential warning signs doesn't mean they aren't there, and of course, on the flip side, the warning signs could just be misconstrued, but had Ember been honest, that wouldn't be called into question as much, and this wouldn't have been nearly as big an issue as it has been. For better, worse, or sometimes both, this is no longer the early internet. Many desire authenticity and many operate under that type of framework when interacting with others and forming connections. Ultimately, this has become an annoying game of telephone, even if it's something that needed discussion, and could have been handled better. We do need to remember that while we are in agreement "The Woke" have gone too far, and we can work together against that, it must be acknowledged that more traditional conservatives and 90s democrats still have our points of disagreement and contention.

Ultimately, the issue with the whole situation is this: People were lied to, trust was broken, there was a background of trans fetishistic writings, which calls motives into question, makes some reevaluate past interactions, & some things were let slide that wouldn't otherwise.

🇯🇵🤝🇺🇸 There's a lot of reasons for this mutual respect and affection. 1. Japan has an absolutely beautiful culture, one greatly admired by most Americans for its traditional values, refinement, and underlying martial/meritocratic foundation. It has been a fierce ally through thick and thin for 80 years. Every time I see the cherry blossoms return each spring here in DC, I say a small prayer of thanks for Japan's steadfast friendship. 2. As a practical matter, Japan became a critical ally for the U.S. in the post-WW2 fight against communism. The permanent U.S. military presence in Japan that began immediately following WW2 expanded during the Korean War, and has enabled both countries to stand as a bulwark against communist aggression in the region. 3. Japan was, and remains, a technological and manufacturing powerhouse that understands the American marketplace and how to work within our peculiar version of capitalism. Innovations like the Toyota Production System, colocation of manufacturing operations, and transfer of expertise have anchored the natural affinity between our nations in mutual cooperation and economic success. 4. Japan loves baseball, cowboy culture, and American whiskey, but has indigenized them while putting new and interesting twists on them. The U.S. loves martial arts, sporty cars, and kaiju films, while similarly indigenizing them. In all cases, the domestication process retained a sincere affection for the mother culture's "pure" version, and we celebrate the cross-pollination as value-added. This is due to the massive number of Japanese and American nationals who have lived in the other country, and built deep bonds while there. 5. Beneath all of this are the two cultures' warrior ethoses, which are highly compatible—sacrifice as a virtue, stoic embrace of service, individual bravery without pursuit of glory, ferocity in the fight, and respect for an opponent who fights with honor. 6. Bigger picture, the Japanese are an incredibly polite, respectful, and curious culture. The U.S. is similarly so, but in a rougher and less refined way. The Japanese are phenomenal guests and hosts alike, and downright decent human beings, welcoming Americans into their lives as we are without pretension or arrogance. Contrast this with the U.S.' relationship to most of Europe, whose elites openly sneer at the enthusiastic and extroverted Americans as gauche and ignorant. TL;DR—The Japanese and American cultures are naturally compatible, we've been through some shit together, have deeply intertwined and mutually reinforcing economies, we've had extensive cultural transfer through people over many years, and we embrace our differences as paths to understanding rather than barriers to friendship.

Do you guys remember that one glorious week when the auto translate feature brought the Japanese posts flooding onto the timeline and we learned that they are actually like **the best** friends we never knew we had? They were just ripping bbq, monster trucks, kfc, honky tonks, and literally the friendliest people of all time And totally reciprocated too like immediately the American tpot started going nuts for samurai and anime and sushi and it was just this big cultural dab up and we learned that two atomic bombs couldn’t keep us from loving each other and all those countries we were allied with in ww2 were totally lame and ungrateful in comparison Probably my overall favorite week on this app
I asked 30 Japanese 12-year-olds one question. "What do you think of when you hear 'America'?" (My nephew's teacher let me visit his class. I was not prepared.) "Hamburgers the size of my head." "Everything is big. Even the milk." "Cowboys." Then a boy asked me, "Do cowboys still exist?" I said yes. The whole class cheered. "They went to the moon." I told them only Americans have ever walked on it. The room went completely silent. Respect. "The best baseball in the world. Even Ohtani had to go there." "Superheroes. They all live in New York." Then a quiet girl in the back raised her hand. "My grandma says when the tsunami came, American soldiers came to help her town. She still has a photo with them on her fridge." Nobody said anything for a while. Then the teacher asked, "Who wants to go to America someday?" Every hand went up. Including the teacher's.

“Women talk a lot about how scared of male violence they are, but from their behavior it's clear they never actually consider it a possibility” When I was eighteen I was out for the night with my bf and some friends, we were barhopping in Kings Cross. I was tipsy & occasionally lippy & obnoxious towards strangers (who were asking for it!). My bf quietly & discreetly at one point during the night said “babe, I love you, but fuck sometimes I worry that you’re writing cheques I won’t be able to cash, if it comes to and I’m on my own”. I was like “wtf are you talking about?” He literally had to explain to me that if I was being a fuckwit starting trouble, he’d obviously have to defend me if anything went down, and if I’m being a massive smart ass and it’s just like him & me & my best girlfriend, then he’s going to be in a fight on his own. All because I was being an antagonistic smart ass to some strangers who couldn’t take a joke. The idea that I needed to be able to back up my words with violence if it came to it, was something that had literally never occurred to me. Ever. It was a total revelation. Suddenly i realised talk wasn’t “cheap” in this context, it was expensive. The idea that I could effectively get him beaten up, or put him in real danger, by being a precocious little shit arguing with idiots because I could, was horrifying. From then on I was extremely reluctant to ever argue with strangers or act like a smart ass unnecessarily, because I was suddenly keenly aware that the guys we were with could potentially be expected to pay with their lives for any poorly received flippant comments we made. It really was totally novel to me. This isn’t how women see the world, at all.
Ideally, he wouldn't have reacted like this But any guy is aware that when you shove another man, getting lightly swatted (or more) is 100% on the table, so they won't do it unless they're being intentionally aggressive Women talk a lot about how scared of male violence they are, but from their behavior it's clear they never actually consider it a possibility We don't live in the 60s. You're shoving a steroid user on an athletic scholarship in the middle of a football game. You have to understand that this inherently comes with a degree of danger

The worst mistake patriarchy ever made was protecting women. They should have sent women to war. Sent them to the mines. Let them see what war actually looks like. Only the rich had freedom, education, and a voice. And rich women had it too. Their daughters had tutors, private schools, maids, dresses. No oppression. Just privilege. If all men were so free and educated, why were they dying like dogs? Why were MEN the laborers? Why were MEN the farmers who couldn't read? Why were MEN the miners dead at 30 with black lungs? Why were MEN the soldiers blown apart in trenches? If they were educated, why weren't they professors? If they were free, why couldn't they refuse war? If they had a voice, who heard them scream when they died? There was NO freedom. There was NO education. There was NO voice. There was only WORK. WAR. Diseases, plagues and DEATH. That was 95% of men's lives. What you call oppression was PROTECTION. Men said: You stay home. You stay safe. I'll go die. I'll die in the field. I'll die in the mine. I'll die in the war. Men didn't oppress you. Men shielded you from a world that was killing them every day. And you were so shielded, you started to think you were oppressed. Patriarchy didn't oppress women. It protected women so well, women forgot what danger even was. That's why you talk like this. You never saw the legs, the blood, the graves. If you had, you'd have some gratitude.

John Adams in 1776 His arguments against giving women, children, and poor men the right to vote: "But why exclude Women? You will say, because their delicacy renders them unfit for practice and experience, in the great business of life, and the hardy enterprizes of war, as well as the arduous cares of State. Besides, their attention is so much engaged with the necessary nurture of their children, that nature has made them fittest for domestic cares. But will not these reasons apply to others? Is it not equally true, that men in general in every society, who are wholly destitute of property, are also too little acquainted with public affairs to form a right judgment, and too dependent upon other men to have a will of their own? If this is a fact, if you give to every man, who has no property, a vote, will you not make a fine encouraging provision for corruption? There will be no end of it. New claims will arise. Women will demand a vote. Lads from 12 to 21 will think their rights not enough attended to, and every man, who has not a farthing, will demand an equal voice with any other in all acts of State."
Letting everyone vote was a deadly mistake… Many of the Founding Fathers warned against mass democracy. The uninformed masses and hordes of migrants simply vote for more benefits from the state. Several Western nations are now headed toward fiscal collapse, led by France.

Your Bible doesn't say fight sexual immorality. It says flee. Run. Not stand your ground. Not manage it. Not install an accountability app and white-knuckle through another Tuesday night. Flee. "Flee fornication." 1 Corinthians 6:18 You know why God didn't say fight? Because the men who tried to fight it are the same men who lost everything. Samson could kill a lion with his bare hands. Rip city gates off their hinges. Slaughter a thousand men with a jawbone. He couldn't say no to Delilah. She had his head shaved while he slept on her knees. The strongest man who ever lived ended up blind, chained, grinding grain like an animal. David killed Goliath as a teenager. Wrote the Psalms. God called him "a man after mine own heart." He saw a woman bathing and couldn't look away. Nine months later he'd committed adultery, murdered her husband, and buried a son. Solomon asked God for wisdom and got more than any man in history. Seven hundred wives. Three hundred concubines. They turned his heart after other gods. The wisest man who ever lived died an idolater. The strongest fell. The wisest fell. The man after God's own heart fell. "Wherefore let him that thinketh he standeth take heed lest he fall." 1 Corinthians 10:12 You're not stronger than Samson. You're not wiser than Solomon. You're not closer to God's heart than David. Stop fighting. Start running.
