ALT The Derq team is proud to share that our work on the Dublin, Ohio Roundabout Safety Enhancement Project has been named the 2026 Midwest Project of the Year! In partnership with the City of Dublin, OH and the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT), we deployed an AI-powered, multi-sensor detection system spanning the SR 161 and Riverside Dr. roundabout and upstream intersections to detect crashes and conflicts, map high-risk safety hotspots, predict vehicle exit paths with 97.5% accuracy, and evaluate strategies for smoother platoon entries from upstream intersections. Roundabouts help save lives and reduce delays, and real-time detection and prediction technology make them even safer and more efficient.
