Very moved to experience the new play, Mammy’s House, a brilliant exploration of loss, culture & community for the Irish LGBT diaspora during the AIDS crisis in 1980s London + a Q&A on care, bereavement & culture – a powerful reminder of our diaspora's deep & diverse roots🏳️🌈

Pushing a lesser-told story to the surface, ‘Mammy’s House’ at @GatehouseLondon is a heartbreaking tale of the impact of the AIDS crisis on the Irish Londoner community, heightened by wonderful writing and performances.

Irish humour. As a survivor who helped with the play I received an ovation from cast and audience last night. Very emotional. It runs until 13th September and I will be on a panel discussing it on Sunday Great #theatre #AIDS #Diaspora #Socialhistory #Migration #Memory 🇮🇪🏳️🌈🎭🏥

Usual @Ryanair being the classy well organised, well run company it is we are 2 hours delayed!! And still sitting on the plane waiting to move away from the gate! What’s the betting they manage to get us to take off just before the 3 hour mark when they have to compensate us! 🙄
What a wonderful night & such an honour to be invited to the launch of @PrideInLondon at The @MayorofLondon Pride Reception lastnight. At a time when it feels like the world is falling apart it was incredible to come together and celebrate Love, Joy, Diversity HAPPY Pride #pride – at London, England
