EPL fans need to understand something called league familiarity.
Aston Villa can draw 4-4 with Man United, Brighton can beat Arsenal or Chelsea, and suddenly people think these teams would dominate La Liga.
Meanwhile, Barcelona can beat that same Aston Villa easily few days ago without breaking a sweat.
Real Betis, Osasuna or Celta Vigo can beat Real Madrid or Barça but they can’t win any of Liverpool, Chelsea or Arsenal. They won’t even see draw.
The EPL is arguably the best league in the world, considering its money, global appeal and competitive depth. Nobody is disputing that.
But stop confusing domestic competitiveness with superiority over other leagues. Your mid teams will be mid in other leagues considering the factors of those league too.
Just because your smaller teams trouble your big teams doesn’t mean they’d do the same against Europe’s elite.
Football doesn’t work like that. If you still don’t know this, just quit watching football.

We want a cleaner Lagos, we want a safer Lagos, we want a more affordable Lagos, we want a Lagos that works for everybody, not just the privileged few. My manifesto and my activism before I got into politics has always stood with the people...

Mikel Arteta finished second in three consecutive seasons during the time of Guardiola and Klopp, and y'all think Alonso, Maresca, and Iraola will stop him. Joke of the century 😂

It makes me so sad, it took another child to liberate her from sexual slavery. That 40 year old man had roommates who told authorities that they didn’t notice anything bc she was introduced to them as “his gf”. I refuse to believe that you can look at her and not see a child.
FOR 17 MONTHS, A TEENAGE GIRL WAS MISSING. NOW WE KNOW WHAT SHE ENDURED BEHIND CLOSED DOORS.
She was held captive in an Oregon home, repeatedly assaulted, cut off from the outside world, and forced to remove her own braces with PLIERS so she would be harder to identify.
She was just 15 years old when she disappeared.
Kylie Arellano vanished from her home in Garden City, Utah, on May 29, 2025. For nearly a year and a half, her family and investigators searched for answers.
Now 17, Kylie has been found alive.
Federal investigators allege that Adam Hunter Harmel (39) met Kylie online, offered her money to travel to Oregon, and drove to Utah to pick her up.
Once in Oregon, Harmel allegedly threw her phone into a river, prevented her from leaving, and subjected her to repeated physical and sexual assaults.
But after 17 months, Kylie found a way to reach someone.
She reportedly contacted another child through an online gaming platform. That child told a parent, who contacted the FBI. Agents eventually listened in on a video call as Kylie described what had happened to her.
On November 1, 2026, authorities rescued Kylie from a home in Huntington, Oregon.
Harmel was arrested and is now facing federal charges.
Think about that. A teenager held captive for 17 months managed to find a way to get help through an online game.
And because another child spoke up, and a parent took it seriously, Kylie is finally free.
We know how investigators say she ended up in Oregon. What is difficult to comprehend is how she could be held there for 17 months without anyone discovering what was happening.
But today, the most important thing is that Kylie survived.

This is wild, even by President Trump’s standards.
Ok, I didn’t expect a story time on Saturday, but here we go. What I’m about to write is TRUE. It is insane, stupid, and very dumb, but it is true. Earlier today Donald J Trump, the p[resident of the United States, posted that he had offered the job of Press Secretary to Dana White. Well, it was the wrong Dana White… 🧵

When the last several Harry Potter books were released, we had midnight book launches attended by millions. Children, in some cases very young, finished these 700 & 800 page books in a single day. And now people are telling me I made it up, that this couldn’t ever have happened.

NIGERIA'S FLAMINGOS MAKE HISTORY AS THE FIRST AFRICAN NATION TO WIN THE FIFA U-17 WOMEN'S WORLD CUP 🤯🇳🇬🏆
Sorry in case you didn’t see it sir @officialABAT they’re talking to you.
GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO
