The Final Fantasy IX Remake is REAL!
That would be the title if I were a clickbait YouTuber. Instead, I will post stuff in this thread that makes me think the #FF9 Remake might actually come to fruition. I hope this thread will grow with more evidence in the future. 🧵👇

Celebrating 25 years of Final Fantasy IX this July with a brand new calendar wallpaper illustrated by Yuya Ishihata!
Just one week until the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy IX. Will they announce the remake? Or at least tease it somehow? Square’s been hyping this like few anniversaries before, so a standard tweet would be kind of a letdown. I'm not getting my hopes up, though. #FFIX25th
One showcase down, two to go...
But let's be honest here. @FinalFantasy is in full FF Tactics mode. They're not changing their banner and profile pic, just to announce the FF9 Remake two days later. #SummerGameFest

Huh, I was expecting Ghost of Yotei to close the #StateOfPlay. What now? I'd take a #FF7R part 3 teaser.
