This needs way more attention.
This post deserves si much more than what it's gotten.
On American social media, I often see people say:
“America isn’t what it used to be.”
“We’ve lost something important.”
I’m Japanese, born and raised in Tokyo.
Let me tell you what moves us Japanese about Americans, even from across the ocean.
These moments may seem ordinary to you.
But not to us.
“At an American grocery store, a woman forgot her wallet. The man behind her silently paid for her groceries. When she asked his name, he smiled. ‘You don’t need my name. Have a great day,’ and left.” (Office worker, 42)
“My car broke down in Texas. A man in a big pickup stopped and spent 30 minutes fixing it. When I offered money, he said, ‘Just help someone else when you get the chance.’” (Traveler, 35)
“At a small American diner, an elderly veteran was eating alone. When he tried to pay, the waitress said his meal was covered. Three different customers had offered to pay for him.” (International student, 24)
“A baby cried on a Chicago bus. The mother kept apologizing. An older woman said, ‘Honey, don’t apologize. Babies cry. That’s what they do.’ Everyone around them smiled.” (Nurse, 39)
“At an American high school graduation, a boy’s name was called. No family was there for him. Another student’s family stood and cheered his name. Soon the whole auditorium joined in.” (Teacher, 51)
“I got lost in New York and asked a stranger for directions. He didn’t know either, but said, ‘Let’s figure it out together.’ He checked his phone and walked with me for ten minutes. Then he smiled. ‘Enjoy America!’” (College student, 22)
“In an American neighborhood, a father ran beside his little daughter’s bike. When she fell, he crouched beside her instead of picking her up. ‘Wanna try again?’ She nodded through tears. He cheered louder than anyone.” (Homemaker, 46)
“At an American restaurant, a waitress looked exhausted. A customer asked, ‘Rough day?’ She nodded. ‘You made my dinner wonderful,’ he said. After he left, she found a generous tip and a note saying ‘Thank you.’” (Restaurant owner, 58)
“The morning after a tornado hit an American town, pickup trucks arrived at a damaged house. People brought tools, water, and sandwiches. The homeowner asked, ‘Who are you?’ One replied, ‘From the next town. Just here to help.’” (Construction worker, 44)
“During an American marathon, my legs nearly gave out. A stranger read my name on my race bib and shouted encouragement. Others joined in. I knew nobody in America, yet felt like dozens of family members were cheering for me.” (Runner, 48)
“At an American airport, a young soldier walked toward his gate. An elderly man stood, shook his hand, and said, ‘Thank you, son.’ The soldier smiled shyly. Others nearby began thanking him too.” (Retired teacher, 67)
And one last thing.
My father is 57. He rarely shows emotion or talks about other countries.
But once, watching American disaster rescue coverage, he said something I’ll never forget.
“America is a strange country.
It’s huge, full of people with different beliefs.
They argue constantly.
But when someone is truly in trouble, people show up from everywhere.
Not family.
Not friends.
They don’t even know each other’s names.
Yet they still come to help.”
He paused, then said:
“I guess that’s America’s strength.”
So, America.
Maybe you feel your country is falling apart.
Maybe politicians have disappointed you, the news has exhausted you, and even your neighbors seem impossible to agree with.
But remember this.
The America the world has admired isn’t found only in the White House.
It’s found in ordinary Americans who reach out without hesitation when someone needs help.
America, even when you struggle to feel proud of your country, please remember this.
Across the ocean, there are still Japanese people deeply moved by the kindness you show without a second thought.
Ya know, I don't care for peanut but the fact that @Behaviour kicked @TrU3Ta1ent for being "ablelist" by making fun of someone twitter.
To giving a guy streamer privileges who dropped a whole F-Bomb live goes to show these companies don't give a shit unless you have big numbers
It's crazy how right I've been about this whole thing when it comes to increase in prices but not increase in Quality.
So glad people are seeing it to.

My son asked for a PS5 because GTA VI is coming out soon
“Absolutely not. That game rewards car theft, gun violence and reckless driving”
He started crying and went to his room
To my shock, a few days later my wife’s boyfriend Pierre surprised him with a brand new PS5 and preordered GTA VI
My son hugged him and said it was the best gift he had ever received
I pulled my wife aside and explained that her lover was exposing our child to American criminal culture
She didn't say a word, so the next morning I did the only thing a loving father could do
While my son was still asleep, I returned the PS5 to the store
Thanks to the EU consumer protection law, I received a full cash refund and used this money to buy him something far more appropriate
A refurbished Siemens laptop with parental controls, and no access to violent video games
When he woke up and realized the PS5 was gone, he started crying
One day he’ll understand that protecting children means rejecting American violent brainrot
Oh, what happened while I was gone?
Suddenly the original post here is gone and missing, did PR call and say that you can't give out the secrets at the top?
I suppose if you're curious what I do outside of calling things out that I don't like on twitter you can stop by here! twitch.tv/deogi_webb/
Ha excuse, EXCUSE FUCKING ME what? "Compare to underpaying your artists" so I am right, you upper echelon gas bags, want the market to sit at 10k per part for a model.
"Under paying" not everyone has FIVE grand for a model right now let alone TWO grand stop abusing the market.

There is not a single excuse you could provide me that I would accept for a 2d piece of virtual art should cost DOUBLE a minimum wage salary and 9/10's someone salary making 20 an hour AFTER taxes.
Vtubers scream "no gate keeping".
When you can buy a NEW CAR on this price.
I love the what about game, oh im so good at this game.
What about cyberpunk, no one cried and complained when it didn't have a micropenis as an option, or when 13 inches of venom wasnt a choice.
You live in a era where you complain that your virtual tits are too small zip it.

Since there seems to be a pretty common misconception about me.
I hate both sides, I think they're both dumb as a box of rocks on a Tuesday morning.
I don't give a shit in what you believe in so long as you're consistent. Could be wrong, so long as youre consistent. 1/2
And if it is wrong, I will check you, and if its inconsistent I will also check you.
I don't care, I'm not defending a side, im challenging your thought process, that doesn't make me a fucking thing.
Racist, bigot, Nazi, half racist, right wing, left wing, race hider.
Dude, you've gone off the deep end haven't you. The other side of this fucking coin has the exact same thing for the opposite fucking purpose
