✍️ Dear Muslims: My family & I have decided to move from the US to a Muslim country. We haven't picked which one yet—we're still comparing which one offers the best benefits package. All my neighbors want to come too. And my neighbors' neighbors. And all their friends. And their friends' friends. Millions of us will show up with suitcases and a sense of entitlement. As a large Christian community, we'll need a few small changes: Please start building churches immediately. Real churches, with nice loud bells, the kind that can be heard from the town square. We'll also need for everyone to celebrate Christmas & to close certain streets once a year for our processions. We may want to gather to pray to our Almighty God on your streets, in your parks, or on the lawns of your mosques. We'll be an oppressed minority, so you'll have to be understanding & adapt to our way of life. Every supermarket must stock real pork, ham, chorizo, & lottsa bacon. We're bringing all our dogs, so you'll need dog parks & you'll have to smile tolerate them as we walk them in front of your mosques. We want women to be able to safely go out alone & wear shorts & tank tops. And when the weather's nice, men like to go shirtless. We also want to drink alcohol, dance & place an occasional bet at the horse races. While we're at it, your religious holidays are a bit too much; they could offend the Christian community, so we'd appreciate it if you'd discreetly eliminate them. Thanks. In schools & workplaces, our children & employees must be able to wear large crucifixes, say prayers, eat ham sandwiches in the cafeteria & learn Christian principles without anyone getting criticized. We also demand chapels or Christian prayer rooms in every building, plus translators, because we have no intention of learning Arabic. If any of this is rejected, please send a list of police station addresses so we can report you for discrimination, Christianophobia, racism, & anything we don't like. Finally, we all want generous benefits, free housing, phones, free food & pockets full of money while we "integrate" over the next three generations. Working is optional, obviously. Be patient with us, you'll get used to it. We thank you in advance for your tolerance & compassion. After all, diversity is our strength! Sincerely, A Very Reasonable Christian

Social Security is heading straight for that 2033 insolvency wall. Without real fixes, automatic 20-25 percent cuts hit every beneficiary. The Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget floated the Six Figure Limit proposal. Rumors are already flying wild so here are the plain facts. This plan caps maximum benefits at $100,000 per year for a couple at full retirement age or $50,000 for a single retiree. It adjusts for early or delayed claiming. The cap hits only the highest lifetime earners who maxed out payroll taxes for decades. Right now that touches maybe the top 0.05 percent of recipients. Conservatives should take a hard look. Social Security was meant as a safety net, not a lavish retirement plan for those who built six and seven figure nest eggs. This adds some progressivity at the top end while protecting benefits for average Americans who rely on it. It could save $100-190 billion over ten years and shrink part of the long-term shortfall. That beats broad tax increases or pretending the math will solve itself through more borrowing. The upside is clear for fiscal responsibility. We face longer lifespans and fewer workers supporting each retiree. Targeted restraint at the high end slows the growth of spending without gutting the program for working families. Pair it with raising the retirement age modestly and cutting waste and fraud, and we get closer to real solvency. Yet risks deserve straight talk too. Washington has a habit of promising one thing then expanding the reach. If this cap fails to track wage growth properly over time, it could quietly squeeze upper middle class retirees who paid in at high levels for years. High contributors earned their benefits through decades of maximum payroll taxes. Changing the deal midstream feels like rule-changing on personal responsibility. We have seen this movie before. Means-testing starts small then creeps based on net worth or other government data. This is no complete solution. True conservative reform means honest accounting, not more promises from the same DC machine that created the problem. Kicking the can guarantees bigger pain for everyone including grandma on fixed income. Better to debate real fixes now than face across-the-board cuts later. What say you? Support targeted restraint for solvency or does this open the door to broader government control over retirement? Share serious ideas not just panic.

On Memorial Day — the one day above all others meant to honor fallen warriors — Governor Tim Walz skipped Fort Snelling National Cemetery where he was listed to speak. He chose George Floyd Square instead. Jacob Frey did the same. Amos Ferrier survived TWO tours in Afghanistan and was murdered stopping a carjacking in their city. Two children were killed at Annunciation while Walz refused school security funding. Veterans are buried at Fort Snelling who gave everything. And their governor couldn’t show up for ONE hour on Memorial Day. This is who Tim Walz is. This is who Jacob Frey is. Minnesota will not forget. 🙏🇺🇸 #FortSnelling #MemorialDay #WalzNoShow #HonorOurVeterans #Minnesota #NeverForget #MNPolitics #November2026
For Immediate Release May 26, 2026 Tim Walz Skips Memorial Day Honors at Fort Snelling – Chooses George Floyd Square Instead Phillip C. Parrish, Retired Navy Lieutenant Commander and 2026 Republican Candidate for Governor of Minnesota, today released a hard-hitting article exposing Governor Tim Walz’s no-show at the sacred Fort Snelling National Cemetery Memorial Day ceremony, while he made sure to appear at the George Floyd Square event. Multiple on-the-ground witnesses, including Parrish’s personal friends and former military colleagues, confirm Walz was a complete no-show despite being listed to speak. The Minnesota press, as usual, buried the disrespect. As a Minnesota taxpayer, this Memorial Day exposed exactly who the DFL leadership truly serves. Governor Walz and Mayor Frey could not be bothered to show up for our fallen heroes at Fort Snelling. They skipped honoring the men and women who gave their lives defending this country. Instead, they chose to celebrate George Floyd, a career criminal with a violent history that included holding a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach during a home invasion. That is not a simple scheduling error. That is a deliberate choice. They spit on traditional Minnesota values and the sacrifices of real Americans to chase political theater and imported narratives. If we are going to remember anyone else on a day set aside for our war dead, let it be Iryna Zarutska. The 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee who fled Putin's war only to be stabbed to death on a light rail train in North Carolina by a repeat violent offender our broken system kept releasing. An innocent young woman trying to build a new life, cut down in cold blood. If anyone should be remembered as a hero in the ongoing war against our corrupt government officials, it is she. Real heroes and real victims deserve better than this upside-down circus. The DFL has shown us their priorities: rewrite history for criminals while ignoring veterans and everyday Americans paying the taxes that fund the mess. Minnesotans who still believe in duty, sacrifice, and sanity have had enough. Time to hold them accountable at the ballot box. Lest we forget the right people.

As a Minnesota taxpayer who's watched one too many tax-funded disasters, this Stanford study on walking and creativity is genuinely fascinating stuff. The research shows walking boosts creative output by around 60 percent by lighting up that default mode network in the brain. Ideas flow better when your body is moving instead of parked in a chair. It is not woo-woo advice. It is solid data with control groups and everything. I have felt it myself on walks around the lakes here. Problems that knot up at the desk start untangling with every step. Now apply that to our elected officials. Imagine if every politician in St. Paul had to walk to and from work each day. No more insulated limo rides or endless seated meetings. Just real pavement time to let their brains actually generate fresh thoughts instead of recycling the same failed ideas. Maybe then we would get fewer ghost healthcare scams, better fraud prosecutions, and leaders who remember to show up for veterans on Memorial Day instead of chasing photo ops. It would be the cheapest reform we have tried in years. Force some mental clarity through actual movement. Darwin and Steve Jobs swore by it. Our Democratic leadership could use the upgrade. Great share. I am stepping up my own walks after reading this. Minnesota could sure use more clear thinking from the people spending our money.
A Stanford psychologist spent 4 years proving that the simple act of walking generates 60% more creative ideas than sitting, and the experiment she designed to kill every alternative explanation is one of the most decisive findings in modern psychology. Her name is Marily Oppezzo. She got the idea for the study while walking with her advisor at Stanford to discuss her thesis topic, and the paper she eventually published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology in 2014 is sharp enough that it should have ended the seated meeting on the day it came out. She ran 4 experiments on 176 people. Same person tested twice. Once sitting, once walking. The creativity tasks were the standard ones psychologists have used for decades to measure how good a brain is at generating novel useful ideas. The result was almost too clean to publish. 81% of participants in the first experiment produced more creative ideas while walking than while sitting. In the second experiment, 88%. In the third, 100%. Every single person walked into a more creative version of themselves. On average, people generated 60% more novel useful ideas the moment their legs started moving. The skeptical question is the obvious one. Maybe it was the fresh air. Maybe it was the scenery passing by. Maybe it was the change of environment doing the work, not the walking itself. Oppezzo killed every one of those explanations with one experimental decision. She put people on a treadmill facing a blank wall. No scenery. No fresh air. No environmental change. Just legs moving in place while staring at white drywall. The 60% boost held. Then she ran the experiment that closed the case completely. She took participants outside in two conditions. Half of them walked through a Stanford courtyard. The other half were pushed through the exact same courtyard in a wheelchair. Same outdoor stimulation. Same scenery passing at the same speed. The only difference was whether the legs were moving. The walkers produced dramatically more novel high-quality ideas than the wheelchair group. The outdoors did almost nothing on its own. The walking did everything. This is the part of the study that hit hardest when I read it the first time. She also tested the opposite kind of thinking. Convergent thinking. The kind where there is one right answer and you have to narrow down to it. Word puzzles where 3 words share a hidden fourth word that connects them. The seated participants did slightly better on these. Walkers got slightly worse. Walking is not a general intelligence enhancer. It does one specific thing. It opens up the divergent search inside your brain. The part that generates options. The part that produces unexpected connections. The part that takes a problem and finds five ways into it instead of one. When you need to converge on the single right answer, sit down. When you need to find the answer in the first place, get up. The mechanism is now well understood. Walking selectively activates what neuroscientists call the default mode network, the system inside your brain that runs when you are not consciously focused on anything. The DMN is where mind-wandering happens. Where memories cross-reference each other. Where ideas that have been sitting in separate folders inside your head finally bump into each other. When you sit at a desk and force yourself to concentrate, you suppress the DMN. When you walk at a natural pace, the executive part of your brain gets just busy enough handling the walking that the DMN comes online and starts doing the work that focus was blocking. The most useful finding in the entire paper is the one almost nobody quotes. The boost did not turn off the moment people stopped walking. Participants who walked first and then sat back down stayed elevated. Their next round of seated creativity work was still significantly better than people who had been sitting the whole time. The rest lingered for at least several minutes after the legs stopped moving. You do not need to do creative work while walking. You need to walk before the creative work. The brain holds the state. The history of this is the part that should haunt anyone who still does meetings in chairs. Charles Darwin built a gravel loop behind his house in Kent called the Sandwalk and walked it 3 times a day for the rest of his life. The theory of evolution was developed one lap at a time on that path. Nietzsche walked up to 10 hours a day during the years he wrote his most important books and openly said the work was conceived on his feet. Beethoven composed for the morning and walked for 5 hours every afternoon with a pencil in his pocket for when something landed. Kahneman said the best thinking of his Nobel Prize-winning career happened on leisurely walks with Amos Tversky. Steve Jobs refused to take important conversations sitting down. He held them on foot. Every one of them was using the system Oppezzo would not measure until 2014. They just did not know what to call it. The question worth sitting with is the one almost nobody asks. Every meeting you have ever attended sitting around a table was a meeting held at a fraction of the brain power that was actually available to the people in the room. Every brainstorm that got stuck inside a conference room. Every problem you tried to solve at a desk and gave up on. Every idea you could not quite get to. The intervention is the easiest one in modern science. No supplement. No app. No subscription. No training program. Just a pair of legs and 15 minutes. The Stanford lab proved it. The philosophers knew it. The neuroscience explains it. And almost everyone reading this is still trying to think their way out of problems sitting completely still.

If you are saying you won’t vote in the midterms because a candidate you support lost a primary election, you are NOT a patriot. Patriots vote to save the United States of America from Islamization and communism. Patriots never quit on their country out of spite.

When I was Muslim, my entire world was this feeling: I was doing everything right, but still not enough.  I was praying on time. Fasting. Obeying. Trying your hardest to please God. But still feeling far from Him? That’s the orphan spirit. And I didn’t realize I carried it until I left Islam. Because here’s the truth nobody ever told me: Islam doesn’t raise sons. It trains servants. You obey to survive. You perform to prove your worth. And you never actually know if it’s enough. So you live anxious. Always striving. Always exhausted. Always trying to earn security that never fully comes. I lived like that for 20 years. Then I met Christ. And I didn’t meet a distant judge. I met a Father. A God who didn’t tell me to climb my way to Him, but came down to rescue me Himself. That changes everything. Because now my relationship with God is not built on fear of failing over and over again. It’s built on adoption. And trust me, I still fail. I still mess up constantly. But a son runs to his Father differently than a servant runs to a master. That’s the difference. So if your relationship with God feels cold, distant, exhausting, and transactional, maybe the issue isn’t that you’re broken. Maybe you’ve just never known what it feels like to be fully loved by a Father. Jesus didn’t just save me. He adopted me.

Well said
My father grew up in the segregated South. He had to walk around to the BACK of a restaurant just to order a sandwich because he was black. THAT was Jim Crow. Not showing a photo ID to vote. You need an ID to: • Board a plane • Cash a check • Buy alcohol • Enter federal buildings But suddenly showing an ID to vote is “racist”? Give me a break. This is not civil rights. This is political theater. The Democrat Party survives by manufacturing grievance because they have nothing else to run on. Comparing voter ID laws to segregation is not just dishonest, it is insulting to the people who actually lived through Jim Crow. Asking Americans to prove they are who they say they are when they cast their vote is called common sense.
